After I checked in, they told me they didnât offer breakfast because the breakfast room was under construction. I paid for a hotel that offers breakfast. Not only wasnât it under construction but they lied to me. The breakfast room was not under construction. Hereâs the photos. I do not like being lied too.
Dirty and unsafe ,the smell of mold kept me awake all night.My wife was caughing and choking from the smell.30 or more bicycles were on the side of the place.And suspicious people around.
So after about being in room for about an hour, found a bug. At first it appeared to be a tic. After further research it was discovered to be a bed bug, then found a bunch more. Used an old water bottle to help identify. Got new room and turned it upside down looking for more bugs. This room was clean. Not the hotel's fault but was, I am a nurse, I instructed how to clean room for next to no cost, delt with them before a long time ago. They did not listen. Therefore I cannot recommend staying there.
It started when I checked in, the front desk clerk was not friendly & kept putting me on the phone with her manager. I told her I needed to pay the pet fee. They did not accept cash & the card reader was not working so she asked for my credit card then proceeded to take a picture of it stating she had to send it to her manager. I asked her to delete the picture with me there & we would go somewhere else. She deleted the picture & handed me the room key. It had been a long drive so we decided to give it a try. The outside was horrible & when we got into the room it was not much better. The bed was caved in & had no support, you had to slam the door to get it to shut, the toilet didnât flush & there was barely any hot water. Be warned!
According to the information provided in Expediaâs email, the property manager has refused to issue a refund due to a system issue between Super 8 and Expedia. I only booked one room for one night, but the system sent me two booking confirmations. I requested a refund from Expedia, and they informed me that Super 8 refused to approve the refund, which is why Expedia cannot refund me.
When I arrived at the property, I informed the manager that I had received two booking confirmations from Expedia. He told me he wouldnât charge me for the duplicate booking because it was an error on Expediaâs part.Both parties are giving me different explanations, which is very frustrating. I advise others to be cautious when booking through the Expedia app or with Super 8.
The first room we given was occupied or hadn't been serviced as there was stuff all over when we opened the door. Went back to the desk and were given another room. Could have been a bit cleaned but fine for a stopover. There were choices of places to eat close by.
Comfortable bed. quiet. Been better ifff they had an elevator instead of stairs carring luggage,drinks,food. I left my IPad there and continued on to IOWA, and they called me the next morning and said they found it, and i asked them to keep it for a week before i would be back thru, and they said yes, they would put it in their safe until i come back. I also stayed that night to pay them back for keeping the IPad for me. Very thankful for them to call me and to keep it for me. I would stay there again when i go thru again
The check-in wasnât what youâd call friendly, but at least he was quick. The property is little more than a gravel lot which calls itself pet friendly, but thereâs no place to walk a dog thatâs safe. The air conditioner wasnât on so the room was muggy but it does work well once you figure it out. There is no Kleenex in the room, a hole in the sheet, the toilet paper holder doesnât have a roller so the toilet paper is just set in the hole, and, although there are lots of plugs in the room no place to plug in a charger unless you have an adapterâwhat is this, the 80âs? The refrigerator seems to work well and the beds are reasonably comfortable.
The carpet in the room was wet. The room was not properly cleaned. The room smelled like mildew. Bathroom was dirty and toilet seat was broken. I would not recommend this location.
Beds not comfortable. Front desk was unavailable most the time of our weekend stay. But conveniently located with food options and quiet,cheap place to sleep
It was not clean, found a pair of dirty womenâs underware in the corner of the room! AC didnât work properly and it was 97degrees that day. Breakfast was horrible, stale muffins was all there was! Bed old and lumpy. Wyndham should not have their name on this property.
Great front desk. But you always get what you pay for. Sticky hotel room floors, extra smelly, extra dirty towels. Poor breakfast options. I will say the bed was quite comfy.
Super nice owners. Rooms and common areas are clean and smell great all the time. Great option if you're on a budget. Also close to fast food and convenient stores. Felt safe here <3
