Rare opportunity to enjoy a gorgeously landscaped private 3 acre Hawaiian estate experience. Located on the Big Island of Hawaii, this detached studio guest house is fully furnished, very private, with vaulted ceilings on a beautifully landscaped 3 acre privately enclosed fully-fenced property. Property has a gated entrance with private gate code, grounds security system, over 80 fruit trees and 2 Koi fish ponds. Studio sleeps up to 5 (one queen-size bed, one full-size futon sofa bed, and matching twin-size futon chair), has 1 bathroom with shower, and kitchen with refrigerator, convection oven, stovetop burners (3), coffee maker, blender, and all necessary kitchen cooking/eating utensils. Rental also includes a dual washer/dryer unit, clothes drying rack, armoire for hanging clothes, outdoor BBQ, outdoor patio seating and eating table for 4, fiber optic high-speed internet, smart TV, 2 yoga mats, umbrellas and other essentials. Outdoor storage shed has 4 beach chairs, 3 beach umbrellas, 5 coolers of different sizes, 3 boogie boards, multiple sets of snorkel gear including child sizes, 4 flotation noodles, beach toys, volleyball, soccer ball, tennis set/balls, beach paddle set, and badminton set that can be used by guests of the rental. Studio has a private entrance, parking spot for 2 vehicles, and 180 degree views of the 3 acre property and Koi fish pond from the patio. Pond area which can be used by guests, has 4 lawn chairs, bistro table for 2 with umbrella, and 2 lounge chairs with umbrella. Hosts provide fresh flowers arrangements, fresh organic eggs, and an assortment of tropical fruit when available. This guest house is conveniently located 15 minutes south of Hilo and 10 minutes between the small towns of Keaau and Pahoa. There is also a grocery store and farmer’s market within 5 minutes of the rental. This is the perfect central location for all activities on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii, including sites such as Volcanoes National Park, magnificent waterfalls, downtown Hilo, and the famous black sand and green sand beaches. If you’re looking for a perfectly central base to explore all of the Big Island’s East Side attractions—while enjoying a spacious, rare private tropical retreat to relax and unwind—this is the ideal vacation getaway for you!

Great spot

Nous avons vécu un agréable séjour chez Jeff et Jenifer. L'hébergement est incroyable avec une attention aux détails exceptionnelle. Les enfants ont adoré les dessins à colorier (faits par Jeff!), les crayons multicolores, les leis de coquillages et surtout la nourriture pour les poissons de l'étang. L'endroit est lumineux et silencieux. Le soir on peut observer les étoiles au son des grenouilles. Les ingrédients de base et la cuisine bien équipée sont également des plus. L'endroit est a une vingtaine de minutes du parc des volcans et à une vingtaine de minutes d'Hilo. Nous recommandons chaleureusement!

Great place and owners!

We had a great stay at Jennifer and Jeff’s place! A very nice vibe, everything was very clean and new. They offer plenty of things to go to the beach like chairs, umbrella, beach toys and coolers (thank you for all this!!!). There is a futon (more confo than a standard sofa bed) a ukulele and suspended chairs outside which is great. Also a all-in-one washer/dryer! 😼 There’s a fountain, a pound, fruit trees for a great, quiet and peaceful yard. The property has a gate which can be appreciated by some as well. The weather was not on our side but that’s sure that star gazing must be incredible there. Jennifer and Jeff are very very nice and welcoming people! We were fortunate enough to hear Jeff play ukulele and sing, that was a great bonus to the already nice stay! That made us feel even more on vacation. :-) That’s a 100% no brainer to recommend!

Exceptional vacation rental! Our return to the Pahoa area to renew our wedding vows was made a memory we will never forget, in part due to the extraordinary details Jennifer and Jeff put into the rental. There was not one detail that was not addressed. If you need it while staying there, they’ve thought of it and made sure it’s clean and ready for your use. The grounds are so beautiful, you enjoy nature and privacy in a setting that would be hard to replicate elsewhere. Need extra towels or chairs for your beach visit-checkWant to try snorkeling- check Want to learn to play the ukele- checkRelax on the lanai to watch the rain - they left blankets for cuddling and candles for ambianceMy husband’s review: it was awesome, wish we’d stayed there longer.Not sure how future rentals will surpass theirs. If you want to get away from it while on the Big Island , but still have the chance to visit the sites; THIS IS YOUR SPOT!Just hope it will be available for our return trips. Honestly, their hospitality was amazing. We feel that they were very attentive while still giving us privacy and space to do what we wanted to do. The space that they created is truly magical and kinda wished we would have done this trip without kids. They made sure to contact us through chat....which sadly I didnt actually checked until the last day, when I was checking what time checkout was at. They informed us early when the volcano erupted...luckily we actually visited the NP that day but arrived when it was already over and asked one of the traffic guides why it was so busy. Anyways, our stay was magical and they were amazing!

Perfect location to see all the sights on the big island. Jennifer and Jeff were the most gracious hosts. The property was gorgeous, well stocked and very comfortable.
