The location was great. It is across the street from the public boat ramp. Also, none of the surrounding houses were occupied. We had our dog with us, and she had plenty of room to walk at the boat ramp area and the street.We planned on cooking all our meals and did bring all the items we would need. The place is totally stocked with pots, pans, an electric griddle, 2 types of coffee pots, etc.There is plenty of room for everyone in the living room and kitchen area. The refrigerator has a working ice maker. Also, there are plenty of spices and coffee pods for the coffee maker. There is a wrap around deck that also faces a small creek that leads into Caddo Lake. There were plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags. towels, and wash clothes. I did bring extras as I've stayed in places that leave minimal paper goods and towels. You may want to bring kleenex. We needed to wash some clothes. The laundry room is stocked with everything you need. It stormed one of the days of our stay, so we were in the house all day. The TV was easy to figure out and we had no issues connecting to the internet. Finally, David is an awesome host. He continually checked on us to make sure everything was going okay. He even suggested a guide to contact for a tour on Lake Caddo. Which we did. It was great.
