The Space:
From the moment the security gates open and you sweep up the commanding driveway, La La Land announces itself clearly — this is not a standard holiday house. Spread across a grand two-level residence on 3 private acres, with manicured lawns, a resort-style pool, and private bushland views in every direction, La La Land sleeps up to 10 guests across four bedrooms and offers a level of space, privacy, and entertainment that families remember for years. Whether it's a long family reunion, a milestone celebration, or a corporate retreat that needs a genuinely impressive setting, La La Land delivers at a scale few properties anywhere can match.
What We Love
The Grounds & Pool:
Three acres of landscaped gardens and private bushland — entered through security gates via a commanding driveway — with a sparkling pool and soothing water feature at the centre, manicured lawns stretching out on all sides, and the sounds of nature surrounding the whole estate. The covered alfresco with built-in BBQ overlooks the pool and lawn, and it's here that the best moments of every stay happen — long lunches, evening drinks, children on the grass until dark.
The Home Theatre:
A dedicated home theatre gives La La Land something almost no holiday property offers — a genuine cinematic experience within the estate. Movie nights with the whole group, rainy afternoons, and quiet winter evenings take on a different quality when the screen is full-size and the sound fills the room. For families travelling with children of different ages, this is the feature that keeps everyone happy simultaneously.
The Rumpus Room:
The upstairs rumpus room gives younger guests their own space — a children's zone that means the adults can relax properly while the kids are genuinely entertained. The Location:
La La Land sits in a quiet cul-de-sac in Kariong — surrounded by 3 acres of private grounds yet perfectly positioned to explore the Central Coast. Terrigal and Avoca Beach are 15 minutes by car. Gosford's dining scene and amenities are 10 minutes away. The M1 motorway puts Sydney just 90 minutes from the gate. You are completely away from the world — and yet, whenever you want it, the coast is right there.
La La Land is the one property in the portfolio that belongs to every season equally — and finds something extraordinary in each one. Summer means long pool days, alfresco dinners under the stars, and children on the lawns until the last light fades. Autumn brings the grounds into a golden stillness and the fireplace into daily use.
Winter is when La La Land reveals its most compelling self — the estate feels private and intimate in a way summer never quite allows, the combustion fire transforms the living area into something genuinely special, the theatre earns its place on every rainy afternoon, and a freestanding bath with a glass of wine while the bushland outside goes quiet is the kind of moment you come back for. The Neighborhood:
Kariong is a relaxed and family‑friendly suburb in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, located just west of Gosford and close to the M1 Pacific Motorway, making it easily accessible from both Sydney and Newcastle. It sits at the foothills of lush bushland and borders Brisbane Water National Park, offering plenty of outdoor space, walking trails and natural beauty right on its doorstep.
The community in Kariong enjoys a semi‑rural feel with modern residential neighbourhoods, local shops, schools, parks and recreational facilities, while still having convenient access to larger shopping and dining options in nearby Gosford. It has a welcoming, community‑oriented atmosphere that attracts families, retirees and professionals looking for a peaceful lifestyle close to both nature and town amenities.
Other Things to Note:
Coast Hosting is a professional hosting company and will ask you to provide a digital copy of your ID prior to arrival. These details are required via a secure, online Guest Check in Form and the details are stored safely.
We also require a refundable security bond of $2,000, which will be held for the duration of your stay to cover any potential damages. This will be released within 7 days after your departure, provided there are no issues.
You will be asked to provide your card details via the same secure online check-in form. These details are encrypted and securely processed through the Stripe payment gateway.
We are governed by and fully comply with strict privacy laws, and your details will not be shared or retained.
