The Maiskogel Studio Apartment is a cosy open-plan Studio, furnished with a dining table, TV, double bed and a pull-out sofa. You have your own private balcony, where you can relax and enjoy the views of the Imbachhorn mountain pastures.
The kitchen has a stove top, an under-bench fridge, a microwave, and a kettle and is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glassware and cutlery. If you do not want to cook on your holidays â thatâs no problem. Restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are only a few minutesâ walk from the Maiskogel Studio Apartment. The village also has bakeries, shops, ski and bike rentals, banks and grocery stores.
Maiskogel Studio Apartment is the ideal place to call home while you explore all the adventures that Kaprun and Zell am See has to offer.
In summer, Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe are a nature loverâs paradise. Enjoy one of the many hiking and biking trails- and stop for lunch at one of the mountain Alms. Lake Zell is a perfect spot to enjoy sailing, swimming and water sports. Only a short distance from Glockner Studio Apartment, you will discover the Instagrammable Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europeâs highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road.
In the winter, Ski resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See provide the best pistes in Austria. For beginners, the Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 40 minutes by car.
Transport is easy- there is free parking for one car at Maiskogel Studio Apartment. A Bus stop and the free Bus is only a few minutesâ walk from the apartment.
