Location, location!

We love, Napili Bay, and the location of this property is amazing - All we had to do is walk across the street to the beach!! Lots of beach toys available in the garage, including beach chairs. Garage held both of our cars nicely and was very safe. Every room and kitchen was well appointed, clean, and very comfortable - there was even a light in the closet, which would’ve been the only thing I would’ve suggested, but don’t have to. Communication has been so easy and timely!

Wonderful Holiday at Residences at Napili Bay by Montage

There were 6 adults and a 14 month old in our party. We rented a high chair and packnplay. All of the bedrooms were comfortable, the two kings were huge, even the queen bed was great. Everything was very clean. It was very easy to walk to the beach from the unit. We liked how close it was to Island Vibes Cafe. It was a great place for Acai bowls and lattes. We loved being able to wash off with the outdoor shower in the back. My little granddaughter really liked it. We all appreciated the beach chairs and snorkel equipment in the garage too. We had a small issue with a broken lock on the back door and Epic Realty was so responsive! They sent someone over to fix it in less than 24 hours. I’m glad that other reviewers mentioned the roosters so we knew what to expect. They did start early; but it wasn’t a big deal. We would return in a heartbeat!

Family stay.

Our stay was not as expected. The condo wood work was visibly dirty. The shower curtain was moldy. The freezer had a frozen explored Sprite bottle. I contacted the manager. She sent a maintenance person to clean. When we returned to the condo in the evening, it was much better with wood work washed, show curtain changed and pop bottle removed from freezee.

Worth the expense

We had a great time. Walking distance to two great beaches. Water was incredibly clear. Saw fish and turtles. Missed not having a pool, but made up for it with amazing beaches. Nice having family all in one place. Saw a few bugs as expected, but kept food contained in fridge and no bugs found in kitchen. Would totally stay here again if I need three bedrooms. Property manager stayed in touch and fixed any problems we had. I love Maui.

Napili Beach condo

Fantastic location with plenty of room to spread out with easy parking. 2 comments to note: 1. there was an odd smell but we got used to it. 2. the roosters at the neighboring property are really loud for the back two bedrooms. They start crowing at like 4am and are loud! Maybe the owners should supply box fans or sound machines to help combat the noise. Even with these issues the location was incredible!!

Napili Bay vacation

Overall the unit was exactly as described in the description. All bedrooms upstairs with a large master suite. The lanai was very nice and shaded so we stayed out there quite a bit. Sleeper sofa was comfortable enough for 2 adults. In our case two older teens. The beach chairs and umbrella need to be replaced. They were not usable. We ended up renting from Snorkel Bob’s just up the street. Washer and dryer in the garage was a plus. The only drawback were the roosters behind us who began their crowing at 4 am but we got used to it.

Great Location and Very Responsive

We had a wonderful stay. Very close to the beach. There was a wagon in the garage which made the trip to the beach a breeze. Only downsides we experienced were the check in process and communication about what amenities were in the condo. For our checkin we had to contact the property manager a few times in order to get the code for entry (condo and gate). for amenities, we contacted the property manager a few days before our trip to see if we needed to bring/rent a high chair and a pack and play for our little one. We were informed the condo didn’t have them, so we arranged to rent them. When we arrived, there was a high chair and a pack and play already in the garage.

Reasonable Value for Napili Bay

The condo offers good space for a family at a price point that is reasonable compared to some neighboring property prices - e.g. the Ritz or the Montage. Many practical details, from wireless charging clocks in bedroom to a gas grill on the porch to a cart for the beach in the garage, help to make the stay easier. The beach is small and OK. The condo itself shows its age and would benefit from things like fresh carpeting, but the management company was quick to respond to repair needs - except a critical one - a screen door to the back porch with a broken lock mechanism. That created some anxiety. To summarize, as someone else wrote, good but not great.

Wonderful Stay in Napili

My family had a great stay in Napili! The residence is a short walk to Napili bay for swimming and snorkeling, and a quick drive to Kapalua, Kaanapali, and Lahina. This was a great location for us during our travels to Maui. Everything was clean, well maintained and communication was excellent throughout the stay.
