Lae Nani 231 is located on Kauai's beautiful coconut coast. The Penthouse overlooks the pool, lawn, beach, ocean and majestic mountains. We are located on the top floor in a corner end unit, which provides the ultimate privacy. Panoramic ocean views are available from the living room, dining room, kitchen and lanai. A new split A/C system was installed in April 2023 providing total comfort throughout the entire unit.

Just a short walk along the beach path you will find yourself at The Lava Lava Beach Club next door, which offers live music, pupus and dinner in a casual atmosphere right on the ocean. A few steps further up the beach is the famous Hukilau Lanai restaurant for a more elegant atmosphere. You're also a short walk to the Coconut Marketplace which offers several eateries, galleries, boutiques, a convenience store, as well as free hula shows M/W/F and a farmer's market T/Thurs.

In the unit you will find two Smart TV's in both the living room and in the bedroom. Both TV's are fully equipped with todays most current streaming options. There is Wireless High Speed Internet for you to use, and a 2.1 sound bar in the living room that allows you to stream music from your Bluetooth device.

The Living room and dining room are accented with bamboo crown molding and tiger wood floors.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and stove. Also includes stainless steel cookware, coffee maker, Keurig, a French press and electric kettle. The counters are finished in majestic magma granite.

The Master bedroom is appointed with a king bed and a 14' memory foam mattress and luxury linens. All interior doors are solid teak, louvered island style.

There are rainforest marbled countertops in both bathrooms and inlayed marble on travertine floors. The Master bath has a large shower lined in travertine and decorative tile, a built in bench and hand held/stationary showerheads. Luxury towels and robes are provided.

The lanai is furnished with a bar height table that provides an unobstructed view over the railing. We have also provided two large cushioned chairs and an ottoman which is perfect for relaxing and reading or just enjoying the magnificent surroundings.

The sandy beach allows easy access for swimming, boogey boarding, or just floating in the warm waters of the Pacific. Most often it's quite safe but can be dangerous when surf is large. The 'keiki pool' is surrounded by lava rock to create a shallow natural pool with a sandy bottom.

Some onsite conveniences are coin-operated (Wash app available as well) laundry and gas operated barbecues. Enjoy the lighted tennis courts and large heated pool. These amenities are all exceptionally well maintained. The grounds are immaculate and lush with many local varieties of flowers and plants. Kauai is truly the 'Garden Isle'.

Lae Nani is centrally located on the east shore, and just a 30 minute drive to the north shore, Princeville and Hanalei Bay. Poipu beach is 30 minutes to the south.

Hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and surfing areas are abundant. Waterskiing and wakeboarding are also available on nearby Wailua River. If oceanfront golf on a budget sounds fun, Wailua Golf Course is just a 2.2 mile drive away.


Convenient access to the Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path starts next door at Lava Lava. The more than 7 mile, mostly flat path is perfect for biking/walking. Rent a bike and explore this popular path that runs along the coconut coast from Lydgate Park all the way to Donkey Beach.

This place is amazing. The view could not be better! You see the view looking outside and it's reflected in the mirrors. The unit was so beautifully decorated and so clean and well appointed with everything you could need. We will definitely be back. I cried when we left!

Great spot in great location. Walking “literally” next door to Coconut Marketplace and Lava Lava Beach Club was awesome!! Great views and great pool with nice little (seemingly) private beach. Place was perfect for the two of us with plenty of kitchen stuff.

Wonderful home just steps from the ocean! Amazing views from the back deck overlooking the pool and the ocean. Only challenge is it is on the 3rd floor so you have to go up 4 flights of stairs with heavy luggage. The location made up for the climb.

This unit had absolutely everything you would need and the view can’t be beat. Walk a few steps to a beautiful sparkling pool and a few steps further to a beach that was never crowded. Sit on the sand or grass and enjoy the waves. Bed was super comfortable and the unit will decorated and stocked. They even have beach supplies in balcony storage. We hope to stay here again next year!

This has to be the most immaculate condo we have ever stayed in through a VRBO owner. The management team and I were in constant contact before and during our stay. The kitchen has every appliance amenity you could ask for, which is great if you are a foodie. The dual air conditioning in the unit is definitely needed. Kauai is the wettest island of all the Hawaian islands so the humidity level is always close to 100%. The ladies will appreciate not having to deal with humidity in the condo while doing their hair or getting ready for dinner. The view from the lanai is unmatched and breathtaking. This condo is an overall 10 stars!

A beautiful view of the water with the sounds of the waves in the background (or should I say foreground). Very comfortable condo. The beach was right outside the complex. Coconut Grove Market, the Lava Lava Club just a short walk away. Your hosts are phenomenal. Any issues that might arise (even before arriving) they are right on top of it. I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful penthouse! Unit was on the 3rd floor no elevator thats the only issue getting luggage up the steps and just going up and down several times. But the wood furniture and the bamboo were gorgeous. They had every appliance, and bbq pit available. Lanai, is where we had our coffee each morning watching and listening to the ocean. The access to the beach took two minutes to walk there. Pool was nice on property. We walked to a restaurant right behind us each night for food and live music.

Great experience! 15 minutes from airport, walking distance to Coconut Marketplace. This time of year the Lae Nani beach can have a bit stronger waves, but there is a calm tide pool on the property where you can enjoy. Place itself is very charming and comfortable stay. We would absolutely stay here again!
