Lae Nani #222 - Wailua Beachfront with pool, tennis and amazing ocean views!

This two bedroom condo is on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building. The two bedrooms have a king bed and a queen bed and each have an attached bathroom. The kitchen has been recently remodeled and has all the tools you need to make a good meal. The wifi service is excellent and the smart tv has a built in Roku system for streaming movies. Laundry is available in the unit. Sleeps 4, no elevator and no AC in the unit but great trade winds.
Building 2 has some of the best views in Lae Nani overlooking the lawn, pool, ocean, and mountains. The grounds are extensive and feature mature, tropical gardens and fish pond to enjoy. There are gas grills for your use by the pool. The beach here is gorgeous and depending on the season, has awesome little waves for learning to surf. There is also a small, protected beach area for the little ones to splash around.
If you are looking for a great beach, pool, walking neighborhood, and lots of sunshine, Lae Nani 222 is just for you!

Location was great. Hidden gem , with a great private beach and the swimming was excellent. The grounds/ garden areas were kept in very good condition. Walking distance was easy to the convenience store and a few restaurant options. Beach restaurant 2 mins away. Great to watch sports at , foods decent as well. Accommodation was pretty much as advertised.It’s in need of a reno at some point. The one thing my wife noticed was it wasn’t as clean as it should be. I’d suggest a top to bottom major clean of everything. The other thing is the chickens 
the Roosters are your alarm clock at 6am every morning. We’re up early so didn’t bother use. The other thing is , they have these endangered birds around the property and at night around 3am they make these screams that I thought was a child . It’s really weird, but again I got used to it . I’d say , if you’re ok with a 3 Star that has a beautiful view and awesome beach area that’s super quiet you’ll be fine. If you want a newer unit with AC this ones not for you. Allover , it’s a great spot Dave and Michelle Vancouver BCCanada

Great property and location if you want to be in the middle of both sides of the island. Host was great. Place had everything you would need - towels, snorkeling, chairs, boogie boards, skim board, umbrella. Only difficult thing about any place on the island is no AC. The air flow was good with opening the windows and doors, but if you are a sweaty person this might be hard to get used to with the humidity. The view was amazing and perfect of the ocean. The beach was nice and private and small pool ocean area was nice for the kids. Waves were good for boogie boarding. Front office staff were very friendly and helpful. Having the shopping center right next door was also very convenient. Highly recommend if you are wanting to stay in a good central area.

Don't pass this one up

When you have never been to the island it is hard to know which area to choose. We stayed in two locations during our stay and this condo location is hands down worth choosing. Not only was it centrally located to explore both ends it was right on this beach spit where one could jump the waves without all the people. The decor could have been a little more updated and though it didn't have AC it didn't matter. We will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later.

The property's location with close access to the beach was great! The landscaping was varied and well maintained. The unit was a disappointment. It wasn't clean or updated giving it a tired, uncared for feeling. We will not return to this condo unit.

Wonderful stay

I stayed at this condo with my dad and my husband. It was a lovely and comfortable space. We loved the condo's proximity to the pool and beach. We also enjoyed walking to the beach bar next door (Lava Lava), a brewery, and a host of other restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace. The location on the island was also excellent. Overall, we loved the space and would stay there again!

Perfect location!

Love the amenities in the unit. Super quiet, great view. Beds were comfy. It would be helpful to know that the coffee maker is not a Keurig type. The kitchen could use some additional coffee cups and a pitcher for making ice tea, etc. highly recommended.

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful stay! The unit was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our week stay with three people. We loved the view of the pool and ocean from the lanai, the cooling breeze through the screened windows, and the kitchen to cook some meals at home. We were pleasantly surprised to stay cool with the windows and overhead fans. Beds comfortable, property grounds clean and generally quiet. The beach and pool gear was helpful to have on hand. We walked to nearby shops, restaurants (malasadas from Passion Bakery Cafe and dinner with a view at Lava Lava), and the farmers market (Coconut Marketplace) and were centrally located for driving around the island. The host was helpful if we needed anything. We really appreciate the warm accommodations and would love to stay here again. Thanks so much!

The manager and housekeeper helped us when the front door lock stopped working. The door to the bedrooms need work. Everything else went without a hitch. Love Kauai and will be back!!!

A great little getaway right on the beach, that was quiet, convenient and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, the views and accommodations were fantastic and the location was amazing!

Lovely condo overlooking the water with lots of great amenities. We decided to go to the North shore for a beach day and so appreciated the closet off the balcony full of beach chairs, snorkel gear, a cooler and everything else we could need for the beach. Centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit too, and a short drive to the airport. Would definitely book again!

The grounds of Lae Nani are lovely. We chose Lae Nani partly for the beach swimming area for littles and the great central location. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of the walled off beach area due to a brown water advisory but we did love and use the pool and wonderful lawns. Loved the central location for trips to the north or south shores. The pool is a good size. With a young one in our group, we liked that it is fenced. The pool was rarely busy and often we had it to ourselves or with just one or two other parties. Not much shallow area for really small children (stairs only). Staff seem to enjoy their work, always smiling and pleasant. Our own unit had an incredible view and large lanai. A few biting insects at dawn/dusk, but not bad. Cupboard on lanai well stocked with a variety of beach gear - 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear, boogie boards, skimboard, noodles, beach toys, toddler flotations, etc. Also a pack & play in bedroom closet. The living area is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Some spices, oils and tea. Blender & coffee maker. Nice to have washer & dryer in unit. No air conditioning, but fans above each bed and in living room moved air. Given a choice I'd prefer a unit with AC. Suggestions: would be nice to have shoe shelf & hooks by door. Hooks on lanai & in bathrooms would be nice too. Generally quiet - at times heard vehicles in parking lot but not an issue. Likewise with birds. Shearwaters sound like crying baby

It is a beautiful place. Has everything you need, including washer, drier and a dishwasher. Location is right next to the ocean, and within a walking distance to a market place and some restaurants. The grounds are immaculate. Would definitely rent again when back on the island.

Girl's Trip

This is the 3rd year in a row my girl-friends and I have stayed in Kapaa we absolutely love it here. First year in this condo, it was great! Gorgeous views, clean, close to the beach, the staff were all very friendly! Only bummer is check out is at 10am a little early when trying to get up and clean out a condo you have been in for almost 2 weeks, a later check out would be great. But that said it was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this vrbo.

We had a fabulous time! Location was perfect for getting everywhere on the island. Condo was clean and the grounds are maintained to the highest degree. We’ve stayed at Lae Nani in the past and chose it again for its superb location and beautiful grounds and pool. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything one would need. Lae Nani is a the southern end of the walking path that runs for miles past Kapa’a. The beach in front of the pool is spectacular, the setting is magical. We stayed 3 weeks and are already planning next year.

January Visit

Nice view of the ocean and grounds from the deck. Enjoy the beach and pool. We especially enjoyed having restaurants nearby that we could walk to. Great location on the east side of the island.
