It is close to restaurants, coffee shops, family-friendly activities, shopping, bars and a whole slew of entertainment. You’ll love the space because of the location, the ambiance, and the people. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

Overall the apartment was ok. It was not overly clean. We found hair accessories on the end table which tells me that the last guest left them behind and the table was not cleaned off. The bathroom was really not that clean. The stove was not on when we got there. It did not get turned on until the 2nd or 3rd day. The advertisement said that the owner had a bassinet or play pen that could be used for an infant. This is one of the reasons I decided to stay here. It did not have one. He brought over a camping cot and a pad for the baby to lay on. I did not use it. I just kept her on the bed with me. There are really high thresholds in between each room. This had potential to be dangerous for my older mother. The door to where the bedding was kept was locked for most of the trip. It made for a challenging stay.

This charming bohemian bungalow is very close to the center of Lee Summit. It is clean, functional and appointed with interesting art, lighting and wonderful books designed to capture the imagination. Lovely

Convenient and Cozy

Location was perfect for us. The property was clean with some exceptions. Be aware that one of the 3 queen beds is a quality inflatable mattress. This Vrbo pretty much had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

Funky Historic Rental

First I will start with what went well. Loved the decor & the amount of space of the unit. What I didn’t appreciate was how dirty the rental was. Cobwebs in the corners, dead bugs on the floor, a past renters dirty underwear & sock left behind. While the property manager did apologize & offer a minimum refund i certainly would not recommend this unit.

Comfort clise to historic Lees Summit

I really enjoyed this rental home. It is decorated with funky art and the beds are very comfortable. It is also very close to downtown Lee's Summit which was perfect. My daughter and I felt safe staying here. It is an old home so there are thin walls. If you are a light sleeper keep that in mind. We had no issues with the guests staying under us. You could hear cars driving by but neither of us had issues sleeping. There are stairs and uneven floors (which were not an issue for us). Its something to keep in mind. I really liked this stay and the owner was super easy to communicate with. Oh and the AC was fabulous in that hot summer weather. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Lee’s Summit place to stay!

My parents came in town from Atlanta and stayed at this property again. They had nothing but great things to say again. They have said this will be their go to spot to rent when they come to town. It is always clean and well appointed and the owner is very nice and quick to respond. It is in a great location and in walking distance of so much to do in Downtown Lees Summit.

Lees Summit Hideaway

Overall stay was good. The flooring in the apartment upstairs is not all on one level. There are small steps throughout the house that will catch you if you are not paying attention. This was not noted in the description. In one bedroom the ceiling fan blades were missing.

Cost place for Christmas

We stayed at this property during Christmas this year while visiting our daughter and family in Lees Summit. It was the perfect place to have our “own” space while in town. The property is uniquely appointed and very homey. It is a great location and is close to everything. We adore downtown Lees Summit, especially during the holidays. We hope to be able to stay at this property again when in town visiting with family.

Lee's Summit visit

Stayed 4 nights in this charming 2nd floor flat. Great location, just a 5 minute walk to downtown Lee's Summit. Appreciated the private porch for enjoying coffee each morning. Definitely will be back again.
