Have fun at this stylish place whether you are traveling solo or with the whole family. Just down the street from KUMED and minutes from various great restaurants and attractions. Amazing shopping experience at the nearby Kansas City Plaza and Westport. Guests get to enjoy the whole house.


Come Enjoy a relaxing stay at our place. Our guests get to enjoy the whole house. We have 3 spacious bedrooms; 2 are on the main level with comfy beds including a tempur-pedic - for a good night sleep. The upstairs bedroom gives more privacy with a queen bed, a full bath and sitting area, work station (office desk & chair). Newly added bunk bed makes it really attractive for families with kids.

Make your own meals in our IKEA kitchen or enjoy great food at the many great restaurants along Rainbow Blvd, 43rd St, 47th St and the plaza.

Our guests are welcome to enjoy our seasonal herb and vegetable garden with tomatoes, onions, basil and other plants in our backyard planter.

Washer and dryer available in the basement to do laundry.

We also have an outdoor fire pit to enjoy on those cool fall evenings.

Guest parking and access is through the rear. There are stairs leading up to the yellow doors on main level. The access code will be provided prior to check in. The back is not handicap accessible. Guests needing this accessibility will need to go through the front of the house. There are 2 steps through the front door. We look forward to hosting you at our beautiful home!!

A very charming property with plenty of space! Geofery was a great host and was very responsive. The beds were comfortable and there was amplle parking. One thing to note is that the house is near the road and it can get be disruptive for the front bedroom. Our family of champion sleepers had no problems.We had hoped for better weather because the area near KUMED looked like a great place to wonder around and hang out. We travel to KC often and will be booking this place again if we can!

Check in and out was easy. We were told when we checked in that there was only 1 working shower. The pipes sounded like a jackhammer every time you turned on water or flushed a toilet. All amenities were not as advertised, such as no shampoo. It was close to where we needed to be, but I would not stay there again.

Exceeded Expectations

This property is as described. The neighborhood is safe and I appreciated the off street parking. Plenty of room for family, nice table to play games, living room is spacious with adequate seating. Bathrooms clean and all of the beds were comfortable. I was able to reach the manager/owner quickly with any questions. Even the neighbors were friendly. Close to UMKC and KCAI, and lots of dining and shopping !!! I would stay again - very nice property.

We enjoyed this home. It had adequate space and amenities for all of us and was located close to things we wanted to do. Communication with owner was great. Cleanliness of the kitchen could have been a little better but we didn’t do any cooking so we didn’t really care. I felt like I had to wipe everything down, though.

My family and I were in town for a Chiefs game. Go Chiefs! The house location to GEHA was a good location. The house was clean and the check in process was easy. There were only 4 of us, but the home has lots of space for sleeping. Cozy little home that was perfect for our needs.

Perfect for my family to get together and attend the football game. I have a 6 year old and she loved the bunk beds in our large room. Two bathrooms were helpful with two families. Heater worked well since we woke up to snow and kitchen was nice for a quick thanksgiving meal after a day of traveling

Nice but water pressure terrible

Place was very spacious and clean, and close to The Plaza. The water pressure in the whole house was terrible. My wife said she felt like she could not get all the shampoo and conditioner she uses out of her hair. The host said it might be due to some construction in the area, but I spoke with people in both houses next to it and they did not have any issues with their water pressure. I would also recommend the host install a dead bolt on the door at the top of the walk out basement stairs. We would stay again but would need video confirmation that the water pressure was fixed. Like I said, it's spacious and clean.

Nice house near good places

The house was nice and looked newly renovated with some vintage charm as well. It had everything we needed for our stay. It is close to a main road which can have some road noise, otherwise its a good choice for your stay in KC.
