The Space:

The main stone chalet has two levels.

Ground floor: Cozy living room with fireplace and a sofa for relaxing by the fire (not a sleeping space). Fully equipped kitchen with oven, electric grill, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, dishes and cookware. Open wine cellar with local Greek varieties. Full bathroom.

Attic: Master bedroom with a double bed and a single bedroom — both with stone walls, wood paneling, and small windows facing the forest and mountains.

Cinema suite (separate building, private entrance): Double sofa bed, large screen with Netflix, popcorn machine. Kitchenette with fridge, filter coffee machine, and washing machine. Private bathroom.

Outdoors: Fenced courtyard, terrace, telescope for amateur stargazing, free parking. Small dogs (up to 8kg) welcome in the yard only.

Throughout both buildings: Starlink WiFi, A/C and electric radiator in each space, fireplace in the main chalet (firewood included), heating included in the price.

Getting here: Agios Vassilios (Siliboves). National road access via 150m dirt road. Car essential. Kalamata airport: 50-60 min. Athens: ~3 hours.

Winter: Road cleared by municipality. Chains rarely needed.

Fireplace: For warmth only. Cooking, grilling, or baking in the fireplace is strictly prohibited for safety and energy certification. Firewood provided. Use the kitchen.

Pets: Small dogs (up to 8kg) in the fenced yard only — not inside.

Mystras (20km): UNESCO World Heritage Site — a magical Byzantine castle-town built on the slopes of Taygetos. One of the most important medieval sites in Greece. Combine with a visit to Pikoulianika (16km) for panoramic views.

Nature & activities: Lagada climbing park (7.5km). Knakiona waterfalls and lake near Trypi (14-16km) for a refreshing summer swim. Forest paths perfect for mushroom and herb foraging in spring and autumn.

Sparta & Kalamata: Sparta (26km) for ancient history. Kalamata (36km) for the coast, beaches, and Messinian cuisine.

Accessing the area is easy as it is located only 150m from the main Kalamata-Sparta road, with Kalamata being 36km away and Sparta being 26km away. Additionally, free parking is available right next to the house.
