Make memories at Keauhou Punahele Unit C104: two-bedroom, two-bathroom home, and a newly remodeled kitchen. A smart television in both bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen. Relax on your lanai and enjoy the BBQ.

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home has all one needs on a Hawaii vacation. The living area and dining room have an open layout that allows for a great place to relax. There is a large smart television in the living room to watch all your favorite shows and movies. Enjoy the sliding doors in both the living room and dining area.

Enjoy a sit-down dinner at the dining table where you have ample room for yourself and your guests. The kitchen has been recently upgraded and has all the amenities any at-home chef needs.

The primary bedroom ensuite has a king bed, smart television, and a large bathroom. There is a double-sink vanity so you can unpack your toiletries. Take a nice soak in the bathtub after a long day of hiking or rinse the salt water off in the shower combination.

The guest room has a queen bed and a television that has cable. The guest bathroom is located in the hallway for guests' use and has a shower. There is also a washer and dryer for guests' use.

Enjoy the pool, hot tub, and BBQ area that is available for guests' use at this property. Keauhou Punahele looks out on the Kona Country Club Golf Course and is within minutes of Keauhou Bay. You are close to shopping at Keauhou Shopping center which offers restaurants, grocery shopping, a cinema, and much more.

There are 20 stairs to get down to the unit, this is a ground-floor unit. There is an alternate entry around the rear of the unit without stairs, however rear door must be unlocked via front door first to grant access.
There is no elevator at this property.
There is no Air Conditioning at this unit.
This property does not allow any floats, pool toys, jumping, diving, or splashing. It is a quiet pool, and all children 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Babies and toddlers need to wear swim diapers.

The condominium is very noisy. There's a parking lot on 2 sides of the master bedroom. Cars and a motorcycle are about 30 feet away. Every morning at 5 am at least one car and often the motorcycle start and shine their headlights into the master bedroom. Keeping the windows closed reduces the noise but the condo is not air conditioned and gets too warm.During our 3 weeks there was construction - a back hoe and jackhammer - was noisy during the day. We were not given warning there would be construction when we rented.There were inconveniences. 2 of the 3 closets were locked closed. The only place to hang clothing was the closet in the guest bedroom, that was also used to store beach chairs etc.We would not stay there again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was as depicted- clean, spacious, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, dream-worthy lanai. The grounds are clean, the pool area is nice, relaxing and everything you would want in a Hawaiian vacation. Check in was a breeze. We will definitely be back and will happily choose this unit again. Mahalo!

Spacious and quiet

This property is very spacious and quiet. We could hear some coqui frogs, but wasn’t too loud or too many of them. There was only 1 closet in the 2nd bedroom (master bedroom closet locked & not available). We marked a 3 on cleanliness because there was a dead roach in the living room and the coffee machine had old coffee grinds in it which was moldy. Overall, we liked the location and space, we would stay there again.

Nice quiet Condo

The overall stay was good with a few issues.If you are travelling with a family and kids like we were be aware this location seems to be a retirement community or just where a lot of older people live. We had a lot of fun in the pool playing with our kids but one evening security came out and spoke to us. We were the only people in the pool at 6pm when this happened. Someone had called and was not happy we were playing volleyball with an imaginary net and an inflatable beach ball in the shallow end with our kids (we did this the night prior and no issues). Security advised us they got a complaint and that the pool is a quiet pool so no noise and no inflatable toys allowed. That ultimately killed the pool vibe but luckily it was towards the end of our trip.The inside of the condo was good with minor maintenance issues that need to be worked on. Be aware there is NO A/C, this was fine as there were ceiling fans and a portable fan that we used. The days were a little warm which made being inside not great especially when there was no breeze. The evenings were cool which made sleeping bearable.The dishwasher racks were rusting in several areas so we washed the dishes by hand and used the unrusted areas of the rack as an area to air dry the dishes (replace the diswasher racks or dishwasher is needed). The washing machine is full of mildew and needs to be cleaned/maintained after every visit.Overall a nice place to stay and was priced well.

Cool Breezes

We had a lovely stay at Keauhou Punahele. We have stayed in a variety of rentals on the island many times before at various times of the year. Some properties had AC and some without. This unit by far was the most accurate about cool breezes and good airflow regardless of no AC. The condo is so spacious with a great layout. The living area flowed so nicely from the kitchen to dining area to the living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also perfectly spaced apart. The furnishings and decor had a beautiful Hawaiian theme that was subtle and not overdone with a very calming vibe. Every room had comfortable furnishings, especially the beds. The lanai added to the plentiful space and even with just a peekaboo view of the ocean, the beautiful landscaping of the property let you know you were in paradise. The sunsets were amazing! Everything we needed from a starter supply of necessities to plenty of cookware for eating in was provided. Most importantly, the condo was exceptionally clean. Even with “creatures” common to tropical island living you know that you are in a clean environment. There are so many more positives to tell about from the quiet setting, to the easy access to Kona and highways leading to a variety of shopping, beaches, and interesting island sites. We would definitely consider staying here again in future visits to the Big Island.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was perfect for our needs which included the Murphy bed for a comfortable 6 person stay. We enjoyed the kitchen since we ended up cooking most of our meals. A highlight of our trip was the short walk to Keauhou Bay for a night manta ray snorkel trip.

Our time in Kona

I will start by saying the condo is beautiful. It was very clean, spacious, quiet and just far enough away from downtown Kona that you could enjoy the serenity. We did have one hiccup in our stay, that being there was no hot water for our entire week there. We had contacted the property management company for three days straight, and although they said people were out fixing the problem, it was never resolved. We did end up with some compensation for our stay, but still had to endure a week of cold showers, washing dishes in cold water, and doing laundry in cold water. The only other recommendation I would have would be to give more hooks options for hanging up wet items. Other than that, the stay was great and the condo is a beautiful place. With hot water, I would definitely stay again.
