Air-conditioner was very effective. We did not cook. We used microwave. Every thing was in a walking distance. We walked to a farmer's market in the morning. had a dinner at a restaurant and it was also in a walking distance. We did not use the swimming pool. Location was perfect. We felt very safe. In short, we enjoyed our stay and I recommend without any reservation.

Great place, has everything, near everything, clean and comfortable.

Great location, everything you need is in the unit, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. You can walk to downtown Kona in 5-7 minutes with lots of bars, shopping, and restaurants just around the corner. There are grocery stores nearby within 1-2mi, it's close to the airport and great hub for activity to do almost anything on the island. Watersports and tours close by too, assigned parking spot, there's a church behind the building so the neighborhood is quiet, and there are several beaches nearby.

Prime central location!

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family in Kona. The condo is a two-block walk from Ali'i drive (though you do have to walk up to the gas station next door to get to a sidewalk). The place had beach gear (including a decent sized Igloo cooler and beach umbrella) and toys for our 6 year old, and lots of extra towels. Well-supplied kitchen even had a rice cooker available if you so wanted. The pool was small and quiet, and had an actual bbq grill available for cookouts by the pool. So close to the Ali'i drive shops and restaurants that we walked pretty much the whole time, and only used our car for longer day trips to the beach. We had no issues at all, and would definitely stay again. This unit is the second floor, so the lanai had palm tree views. Next time we will probably stay in a higher up unit just for fun. The A/C was a must and definitely appreciated!

Location!

Great location for visiting downtown area. The place was clean and well stocked with essentials. A faint funky smell, but not enough to bother me and I'm pretty sensitive to smells. At least they did not try to mask it with air fresheners or candles. Bed was comfortable and there was a good variety of pillows. Bed sheets were 100% polyester. A fitted sheet would have been nice, as would a change of linens. The tub is slippery, a bath mat would be a good addition.

Happy experience

Location was fantastic. A few steps from Ali’i drive - Everything for the beach supplied. Clean and kitchen was great for making our own breakfasts. This was our first vrbo experience and a good one. Bring your own shampoo and even extra toilet paper if you stay more than a couple days though. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great Location

Great location - easy walking distance to Ali Street to many shops and restaurants. Window air conditioner worked fine for cooling place off Wish the overall cleanliness could have been better. Had issue originally with shower curtain liner being very dirty and disgusting but the management company came and replaced with in an hour after I called. Used a lot of air freshener but just couldn’t get rid of stale smell or like someone used to smoke there.

clean and the location was good but..

there was a problem with the laundry. First, there was no detergent in our room. Second, there was a laundry room, but "without coin-exchange machine." We were not able to use pay-range app, so we needed coin-exchange machine. When we sent a message to the host, they said they "believe there is one in the laundry room", but there wasn't. After that, the host didn't replied to our message. What a relief, there were a lot of clean towels. +other properties were clean and good. The view was nice too, and we had our own parking space.

We enjoyed our stay

My 6 yrs old son and I enjoyed our 7 day stay. Great location, walking distance to restaurants. It’s a old building, but inside the unit is clean. Great view from the balcony. You are able to see ocean far away. Few issues, the door nob came off once, and the coffee machine wasn’t working, but the management replaced them right away. Really appreciate their quick response. It’s also very safe, you can’t access the elevator without a key. I also like the floor plan, which allows good airflow. Over all I am happy about this place.

Great Stay

The building itself is a little worn down, but the upkeep of the condo itself is evident. Good location, clean, easy check-in and quick responsive host. I accidently locked myself out of the condo and First Island Realty were able to unlock it within 30mins of contacting them. Great location but the balcony overlooks a historic church cemetery, not a big deal but a little surprise.

Perfectly Adequate

The place was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and is in a quiet area, especially for near downtown Kona. We used to own a vacation rental a few blocks away, so my only suggestion would be to add some decoration: a few pictures on the walls, some tropical print throw pillows and bedspread would really brighten up the apartment. But, other than that, it was great!

Hidden Gem

The Condo is a hidden gem. The appartment house looks from the outside a bit old, but this condo is the opposite. Looks very new, very clear, has all what you need. Good location, clean, easy check-in and very friendly host. If we come back to Big Island an Kona, we will stay here again for longer time.

Wonderful location and very clean!

Super cute and clean condo was perfect for what we needed for 3 nights. Easy parking so we could load up our toddler and infant for adventures during the day.Great place to relax in the evenings.
