Our Hawaiian Style Vacation Rental apartment is "Legally operated", and sits on Kailua Beach, one of Hawaii's most beautiful of white sand beaches, and rated among one of the USA's best.
This VR unit is located in the front portion of a Kailua beachfront home with a beautiful view of Kailua bay. It has it's own private entrance and convenient FREE parking on driveway just down sidewalk from the rental unit. The bedroom has one queen-size bed and over head ceiling fan for extra ventilation and comfort. There is a connecting private bathroom and shower, supplied with bath towels sets an beach towels. The unit also has a dining table, TV with cable, and unit is computer “WIFI” wireless ready.
There is AC available for cool air as preferred. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a microwave, large sink, Kreuig coffeemaker with 4 complimentary K- coffee cups to start tenants off, electric hot water kettle, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, dishes, and utensils. There is microwave cooking only. Tenants are responsible for their own food an beverages, and all personal soaps an toiletries.
Rental has direct side walk private access to front lawn sitting area where tenants can relax an enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Kailua Bay and Mokulua Twin Islands. The beach is just 30 steps form the rental door. The front lawn is shared with tenants of second rental on premise. For extra privacy during day, the unit window has been tinted at 82% view protection from outside, an inside there's partial view a full coverage shades for further privacy. Lounge & beach chairs are included for use at rental beach premise only. There are out side hose's and faucets for rinsing off sand after going to beach and swimming. There are convenient clothes lines right outside rental door for drying suits, towels, an clothes. No Washer/Dryer. Laundromats are 5 min away.


*Depart fee: Christmas/Thanksgiving $50.

Rates are based on 1-2 adults and all reservations are booked on a “first come basis”.
All credit card fees are 3% included in rental rates.

Our host was very welcoming and informative. The best thing about this rental is its location and proximity to the beach. It’s very basic, pretty much just a bedroom and bathroom with a small kitchen sink space. There’s a small refrigerator and a microwave. It works fine for two people who are planning to eat out for most meals. There really is not comfortable seating for watching TV or anything like that. But if you’re just looking for a place to stay, that’s close to a beautiful beach and reasonably priced this is your spot.

The location! And the updated, smart use of space- I would suggest maybe a small love seat or two comfy chairs at end of bed to have for seating. But it was perfect for us!

Cute little room right outside the ocean which was incredible. I loved the huge window that you could see the ocean from (but was tinted so no one could see in very easily). The room itself has many kitchen amenities so you could cut up fruit, make sandwiches for the beach, oatmeal for breakfast, etc. The shower didn’t have shampoo / body wash etc so bring your own. There were many clean towels which is always great. Walking right onto the beach was incredible. There was an umbrella and nice Tommy Bahama chairs to use too which was fantastic. The AC doesn’t get too cold but it was cool enough for us in December. The bed had nice bedding but wasn’t “hotel comfortable” but we slept great and felt very well rested here. Overall an amazing stay. Shari is a very welcoming and helpful host. I would stay here again for sure!

The room was perfect for our needs staying three days. We had beachfront access with chairs and beach towels provided. The host was incredibly kind and personable and gave us great recommendations for local eating in sightseeing. We would totally stay here again and can’t wait to book our next trip there!

The view from window showed the ocean. It was beautiful! Our host Shari was attentive, friendly and gave very helpful advise on places to eat and things to see and do. The waves here however were strong and we didn't venture out in the water. The beach was clean and pristine and we enjoyed walks on the beach every morning!

One of the very best locations on the entire island. Photos do NOT do this location justice. Absolutely unbelievable location! The property itself is good enough, a vintage mid-century modern home from 1965–quite charming indeed. I prefer an actual air conditioner during sleep time, which was the only negative, and I prefer much softer, fluffier pillows. Plan on 76-82 degrees (f) inside. Nevertheless, happy to cool off in the ocean, with the sandy beach—no reef, no traffic, no drama. Host is excellent! Takes pride in ownership. Very quiet. Very safe. ON THE BEACH. Frankly, this was a bargain. For me, it was a once in a lifetime experience and one of the best places to stay, if you want to enjoy UNCROWDED, prime Kailua Beach. There’s even a nice, outdoor shower spot to rinse off the salt water and sand.
