The unit is described as âbeautifully remodeledâ, with âpremium amenitiesâ, âluxuriousâ and ânew outdoor furnitureâ. Given the above descriptions of the unit and the price paid we were disappointed in the quality of the unit especially the 2nd bedroom.The large patio door in the 2nd bedroom should be replaced. It rattled all night, every night. The road facing the unit is a major thoroughfare for large noisy trucks, service vehicles, and cars. This is most noticeable at night and early morning, usually beginning at 4am. We did not have one restful night. Hoping to enjoy the Island breezes, leaving the door open was not an option, as the screen did not lock and the noise from the traffic would have been intolerable. The carpeting in the second bedroom has shown its wear and needs replacement, especially by the bathroom. A towel had to be placed in front of the sink and bathroom door. The shower in this bathroom drains very slow, meaning standing water and the shower head also needs repair. The bathroom sink handle was loose âŠand never once could we get hot water. The toilet ran all night. The outdoor furniture does not appear newâŠwe had to stack the cushions to create comfortable seating. One evening (before the power outage) we tried using the outdoor hot tub at the main pool. It was cold by hot tub standards. The water temp was 80 degrees and could not be adjusted. Hope these concerns can be addressed for future renters.
