Completely clad in solid teak, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is a one-of-a-kind space.
This condo at Maui Sands is an oceanfront property with a spectacular view of the islands of Molokai and Lanai from the shore, across the Au'au channel.
The seawall and ocean shore are literally 30 steps from your front door! You will enjoy the fresh, clean air and hear ocean waves from every room!

*Living Area - The living room is open to the kitchen and sports plenty of seating arranged for family or a quiet corner to enjoy a book.
The chaise lounge sofa is comfortable, and there is a smart TV with fast wifi.

*This condo has split AC units in both the bedroom and the living area.

*Kitchen - This kitchen comes with everything you would want to prepare a large sit-down meal, or pupus. There is a large teak island adjacent to the kitchen, which creates plenty of space for both the chef and the diner! This is an end unit that provides an extra window next to the kitchen for maximizing the benefits of the cool ocean trade winds.

*Bedroom - has a queen-size Casper mattress and loads of built-in closet and drawer space. This unit comes with a Pack 'n Play and extra bedding.
The living area has a chaise lounge sofa with a queen-size pullout and a cabinet for guest storage.
We supply extra pillows for up to 4 guests.

*Bathroom - There are separate vanities and step-in shower areas for family convenience. We supply plenty of bath and beach towels. The step-in shower is large.

*Lanai - With extra living space on the large lanai, you can enjoy delicious meals or a superb Maui evening outdoors. We have a wonderful garden view, surprisingly private, with a view of the ocean framed by palms and fragrant plumeria trees. There is a beach box with beach chairs, some snorkel gear, and beach toys kept on the lanai.

If you decide to forgo renting a car for part or all of your visit, there are many alternative means of transportation available.
The Maui Bus stops in front of the ABC store just next door and south of the property. The fee is $2 per leg of your trip per person, and they don't make change.
Uber and Lyft are also available, as are traditional cab services. You may decide to leave the driving to someone else and take a tour to visit Hana or Haleakala. We like Roberts Hawaii, but other companies out there do a great job as well.
If you do decide to rent a car, there are local car rental companies available that offer airport pickup.
One note of caution: The Maui Bus does not allow luggage on board, so this isn't a good way to get to or from the airport.

Please note that the oceanfront is a beach area that varies with the tides and the time of year. Rising ocean levels shift the sand back and forth quite a bit. There are wider sandy beaches within walking distance, both north and south of the property.

The entire condo is accessible to the guest.
Check-in time is 5 pm, and check-out time is 11 am.

*We take your safety and well-being seriously. We have a comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing program for this property. Our cleaning service and on-site staff are spending as much time as necessary to make sure that all areas of your rental are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before you check in.
*We ask you to plan ahead, as we may not be able to allow early check-ins and late check-outs as often as we would like.
*Please note, this is a second-floor unit in a 2-story building. If you are booking with children, we require "indoor feet" from all our guests, regardless of age. :)
*The cleaning service charges an additional fee of $75 for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day check-ins. This fee will be charged after the reservation is made.
*If tax rates change, there may be additional taxes due after booking.
