The mountains are calling.... Oak Hill Inn offers 3 charming rooms each with private entrance and bathroom. The perfect location with a short 5 min. walk to the heart of down town. We're family owned and operated for over 30 year and take pride in making our guests feel welcome! We offer 3 charming private rooms available for rent at Oak Hill Inn. This listing is for our patio room #2. Which includes a queen bed, private bathroom, private entrance, dining area in room, side patio bistro table, flat screen TV with cable, kitchenette, dining ware, Keurig , and mini refrigerator. The perfect accommodations for 2 adults. Our carriage house rooms #1 & #2 are located in a building adjacent to the main house up the stairs from Coleman Circle.

If your looking to enjoy the rest of Julian you are just steps away to the heart of down town. Wonderful restaurants, shopping, wineries, apple pie, breweries, gold mine tours, etc. Or take an afternoon and enjoy a short drive to explore Lake Cuyamaca, Volcan Mountain, the Nature Center in Santa Ysabel or tour the Wolf Center.

The grounds are beautiful and located within five minutes walking distance to downtown Julian (0.3 miles). Parking is located on Coleman Circle next to the stairs that lead up to the Inn. Mike & Laura will be glad to assist you with your luggage if you need help up the stair and/or any other special accommodations. Please note we do have a lot of stairs. Call or message us ahead of time with any concerns so we can be plan ahead and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Cozy house

Needs a little flexibility when it comes to checking in. Had a wedding at 3. Asked if there was any way to check in a little earlier to drop off luggage and change into wedding attire. That didn’t happen. Had to change in my car.

Amazing! Highly Recommend!

Mike and Laura have such an incredible set up and they are so welcoming and nice. Our room in the carriage house was perfect but the access to the pool and the tavern they have set up was awesome. We will be coming back to Julian and we will absolutely be staying at the oak hill inn again!

So fantastically relaxing!

Its was so relaxing and quiet. The owners have created such a welcoming atmosphere that you feel right at home. Location was perfect to everything in downtown. It was just so charming I cant say enough good things about it😁. You WILL enjoy your stay here!

The perfect stay in the perfect location

My wife and I stayed in this exact same space and in the exact same room when we first started dating nearly 15 years ago, and the memories we made this time when visiting for our anniversary were just as good, if not. Hope you are a cat person, as there are a number of property cats that are very friendly and sweet. The pool is crisp but perfect for the summer, and while the spa was empty I was surprised to see that there was one! Hopefully the next time we come through that functioning, but not having it didn’t make our trip any worse. Check in is easy, the room is cute, everything you need is there and town is a five minute walk away. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Oak Hill Inn is a gem

This was the first time I have stayed in Oak Hill Inn but it won't be my last. My room was charming and quiet, plenty big enough for two though it was just me this time. The last time I stayed in Julian it was at the Julian Hotel and I felt confined and claustrophobic (I had to leave the room to change my mind). No such issues at the Oak Hill Inn. A big plus is that it's just a five minute walk up the hill to reach the heart of Julian. It is a bit tricky getting into the room, as the entrance is at the top of a steep staircase. So, make a few trips to get safely into the room (don't overload yourself). There is a nice looking little pool for the warmer months of the year (much too cold in April). At the end of my trip I neglected to take my pillow, leaving it on the bed. The owners and I have communicated and they will gladly hold it until my next drive into Julian. Good customer service!

Cute Little Spot Close to Downtown Julian!

Perfect for a couples weekend getaway in Julian! Comfy bed, close to town and just an overall great spot! Loved that they had a little community area with an honor bar so you could grab a soda/water/beer or snack. It was a perfect stay for a long weekend in Julian.

A quick and close retreat from San Diego

I needed a couple of days away but close to San Diego, and this property spoke to me on vrbo. So, I stayed there and really felt refreshed upon my departure. Owners were prompt and attentive when needed but unintrusive. I loved the view and how close and easy it was to walk to the heart of Julian, while still feeling surrounded by nature and quiet.

Amazing Stay Minutes Walk Away

Such a perfect stay at the Oak Hill Inn. It was amazingly clean and perfect size!! With only a few minutes walk away from all the shops and restaurants we will definitely be returning next time we are in Julian :)

Lovely!

Directions and instructions were as easy a Julian apple pie. The room we stayed is was clean and charming with thoughtful touches. The pool are is absolutely magical and relaxing. Laura, her husband, Sally and Lucky (the cats) were amazing hosts! Definitely a gem and look forward to returning.
