Welcome to The Coyote Haus! Unwind and relax in our newly renovated home. While this modern home is the perfect private getaway for you and the family, its location makes it easy for you to get around:

3 min drive to Coyote Hole Canyon

3 mins from the famous Joshua Tree Saloon

This home features wood beams along with rustic countertops, roof and fencing to provide a unique experience unlike anywhere else in Joshua Tree.

This desert sanctuary is a vision of relaxation. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the peace of the natural surroundings.

Inside the home, there’s an open-plan living space with two separate living rooms. Two bright bedrooms, with brand-new king size memory foam mattresses. There is also a futon in the sunroom that can be used for additional sleeping as an option (most comfortable for small kids).

After an afternoon spent discovering the wild beauty of your location, you’ll relish unwinding in the open-air newly built hammock garden. Keep things casual with a barbecue dinner on our brand new propane grill and enjoy a game of cornhole.

Open up the garage door and take in the breathtaking sunset views, while you play a game of shuffle board or ping pong. End nights with gathering around the fire pit while you watch the stars blanket the night sky and revel in the utter tranquility of this uniquely serene escape.

PETS
Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs, which includes picking up and disposing of all dog waste and sweeping up excessive dog hair. Please keep dogs off of furniture to be courteous to other guest. We do not have a pet fee but instead encourage you to donate to the local No-Kill Animal Shelter!

You are right at the center of it all! Downtown Joshua Tree with its amazing restaurants and atmosphere is just 3 min down the road. 7 min in the other direction you hit the West Entrance of the park and Coyote Hole Canyon is so close you can here the coyotes sing at night!

Driving is the best way to get around, save your legs for all of the amazing trails nearby!

Please keep in mind that we run on septic. Please do not flush ANYTHING that`s not toilet paper.

There is a very small drop going from the kitchen to the sunroom so please watch your step as you get used to the space.

Occasionally, you`ll hear some neighborhood dogs saying hello!

In an effort to keep the entire property more secure, we have installed a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of the house.

NO TRESPASSING: Guests are only granted access to the premises within the property lines. Accessing neighboring properties is strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for any fines and penalties resulting from trespassing.

TERMS & REGULATIONS:

Vacation Rental Agreement

Legal Considerations: This agreement serves as a vacation rental agreement, not a property lease. It does not confer any rights to the property at any time, and your usage is strictly defined by the terms outlined herein.

Booking Period: Your exclusive access to the property begins at check-in time and concludes at check-out time unless alternative arrangements have been formally approved in writing by the host. This agreement is in effect from the moment your booking is confirmed.

Occupancy: The number of individuals occupying the property must not exceed the count specified on your reservation confirmation without prior authorization from the host. This limitation applies whether the individuals are over night. Day visitors are welcome, but no parties or large gatherings. Total guests on the property at any time, including day visitors, may not exceed the reservation`s maximum occupancy plus 4 people without prior written approval.

Photography and Commercial Use: Professional photoshoots at the property are not permitted without prior written consent from the host.

Special Events: Hosting special events, including weddings and parties, is not allowed without prior written approval from the host.

Internet Usage: Illegal or abusive use of Internet access on the property is strictly forbidden.

Property Access: If necessary, you are required to grant access to the property to the owner and designated personnel for purposes of landscaping, routine maintenance, pool and spa services, cleaning, repairs, and building inspections.

Smoking: is strictly prohibited inside the house. Violations may result in a fee of up to $1,000. Cigarette butts must be properly disposed of and not left on the property grounds; failure to do so may result in an additional cleanup fee.

Surveillance: Guests acknowledge and accept that there are surveillance or recording devices in some of the property`s outdoor areas for security measures, and the field of view is stated on the listing.

Pets: Pets are allowed only by adding the pet to the reservation. Additional fees will be automatically applied. If a pet is brought onto the property without being on the reservation, guests may be charged a fee of up to $500.

Pet owners are required to follow these additional rules:

‱⁠ ⁠Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. A fee of up to $250 may be charged for excessive pet hair removal or damage caused by pets.
‱⁠ ⁠When outside the house, dogs must be leashed at all times to mitigate the potential dangers posed in the High Desert.
‱⁠ ⁠Owners must promptly clean up after their pets and deposit waste in a plastic bag, placing it in the garbage.

-In addition to the supplementary pet cleaning fee, the host reserves the right to deduct expenses associated with extra cleaning or repairs necessitated by the presence of your pets. You also assume full responsibility for any harm that may come to your pet(s) and agree to indemnify the host, the Property owner, their agents, and employees against all losses, claims, liabilities, causes of action, damages, costs, and expenses related to any harm that may occur to your pet(s) while on the Property.

If the property includes a pool or hot tub, the following rules apply:

Swimming Pools and Hot Tubs: Pools, including swimming pools, hot tubs, and cowboy tubs, provide exercise, recreation, and relaxation, but they can be dangerous if not used correctly. Please observe the following safety guidelines when using any pool on the Property:

‱⁠ ⁠Diving into the pool is strictly prohibited.
‱⁠ ⁠The pool should not be used by intoxicated individuals.
‱⁠ ⁠Never use the pool when alone, as there is no lifeguard on duty.
‱⁠ ⁠Children must not be left unattended near the pool, not even for a brief moment.
‱⁠ ⁠For hot tubs, ensure the cover is fully removed before use, and avoid sitting or lying on the cover.

Please note that neither the host, the Property owner, nor their employees or agents can guarantee the safety of individuals using property with a pool. As a result, you, the Guest, are responsible for any losses, costs, damages, claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from pool use by yourself, other occupants, your guests, or your pets.

‱⁠ ⁠The pool may be used after dark with consideration for quiet hours (no loud noises after 10 PM).
‱⁠ ⁠Adult supervision is required for anyone under the age of 14.
‱⁠ ⁠All drinks must be served in unbreakable containers.
‱⁠ ⁠Excessive noise is not permitted at any hour.
‱⁠ ⁠Users must shower and clean their feet before using the pool.

No lifeguard will be on duty at the pool, and guests swim at their own risk.

Guests agree to release, indemnify, hold harmless, and forever discharge the host, the Property owner, and their employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all losses, costs, expenses, claims, liabilities, and causes of action resulting from the use of a pool on the Property by Guest, members of Guest`s household, Guest`s guests, or invitees.

If the Property features a cowboy tub, Guests have complete discretion on whether to fill the tub. However, upon filling the tub, Guests assume all risk of injuries or harm resulting from its use.

Noise: Please respect the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Keep music and voices at a considerate volume, especially after 10 PM when a county-wide noise ordinance comes into effect, prohibiting amplified music or loud noises.

Drones: Drone use requires prior written approval.

Furniture: Furniture from inside the house must not be used outside. If you rearrange any of the furniture, it is your responsibility to return it to its original location upon your departure. Our cleaning staff is unable to move heavy furniture. When moving furniture, please lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the floors.

Check-Out: Please ensure you check out on time to avoid additional charges. If you anticipate any delays or issues before your departure, please contact us in advance so we can work together to find a solution.

The agreement with our cleaning services requires that we allow the cleaner the full time to complete the turnover.

First time in Joshua Tree and the experience was made even better by this property. The grounds are beautiful, with multiple areas in front yard, backyard, side yard to explore and enjoy. Well maintained and very clean. The king size beds were very comfortable, and with AC units in each room it was perfect temperature anytime. I only wish we had more people to enjoy the space with. The hammocks out back and front were relaxing after hikes, and for nighttime stargazing. Only suggestion I have is to make sure to bring a lighter. As the fire pit igniter doesn’t work on its own. But it was a lovely stay and we heartily recommend! Reached out to the owners a couple times for questions and there was an immediate reply. No stress and no worries just relaxation.
