The Neighborhood:

Located in a small neighborhood, on dirt roads. Casa Lenta offers privacy without being too far off the beaten path. Make sure to visit Noah Purifoy Museum which is only moments away.



* Please be aware that parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited in this house. We prioritize the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests, as well as our neighbors. We kindly request that you respect this policy during your stay. Failure to do so, will result in a 500 USD fine for guests.



Getting Around:

Home is located just a short 5 min drive to downtown joshua tree



Other Things to Note:

PROVIDED

- 1 Towel, Hand Towel, Wash Cloth and Pool Towel provided per guest.

- Some trash bags, dish soap, detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper have been provided. For more, please visit one of our local markets.



QUIET HOURS: 9PM - 7AM

No noise may be heard beyond the property line during that time.

Exterior lights must off 10PM-Sunrise



NO SMOKING in the house. Please mind your butts.



PETS: Pre-screened pets are welcome for an additional fee. They must be house-trained and stay off furniture, and out of the hot tub. The fee for bringing pets is $100 per pet (max of 2 dogs). We are unable to accommodate cats due to the owner's severe allergy. Appreciate your understanding!.

ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after it rains.



EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



THE DESERT IS WILD!

- The desert is home to coyotes, spiders, scorpions, wild dogs, bobcats, snakes, large birds of prey, and lots of pokey things!

- It's nearly impossible to keep every bug out, especially if doors are left open or it's been very hot lately. By booking with us you are acknowledging this.

- Temperature and weather extremes are common including high winds, dust storms, snow, and temperatures ranging from 38-110 F.

- This is California: Wildfires and Earthquakes can happen!

Please prepare, plan, dress, hydrate, apply sunscreen, and supervise children, pets, and loved ones accordingly.



CLEANING

A non-refundable departure cleaning fee is required on all rentals. Stays longer than 7 nights require additional weekly cleanings at the standard rate.

Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: Dirt roads, no low riding cars

Outdoor Surveillance: We have an outdoor security cameras. NO cameras are located inside the property.



◦ Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat.



◦ Authorized early check-in and late check-out are available at $50 per hour



◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address





◦ RULES:

Noise ordinance:

Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine.



◦ SMOKING POLICY

No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees



◦ Restricted Areas:

Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item.



◦ Hot Tub/Pool:

Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.

Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.

No drinking in the hot tub, please.

Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.

Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance.



◦ Photoshoots & Video:

No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.





IMPORTANT NOTE for HOT TUB and POOL

To protect your own health, safety, and the integrity of tub and linens, and to ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of our facilities all guests must shower before and after using hot tub and pool.



• We kindly request all guests to rinse their feet, bodily oils, and lotions before entering the hot tub and pool area. Failure to do so may result in the accumulation of dirt, debris, and contaminants in the water, which can compromise the overall experience for all users.

• No pets of any kind or size in hot tub and pool.

• Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub and pool.

• Please do not stand or sit on hot tub or pool cover.

• Children must be supervised at all times.

• Please heat the hot tub with cover on and avoid the urge to add hot water from the stove, it will damage the hot tub

• Please leave spa covers on and secured after use. Spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight.



Please be advised that if the condition of the hot tub and pool is left in poor conditions due to guests not rinsing their body and feet, an additional fee may be charged for excessive dirtiness. This fee will cover the cost of the necessary cleaning and maintenance required to restore the hot tub and pool to its optimal condition.



We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests. By adhering to this requirement, we can ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the benefits of our hot tub and pool facilities.

POOL & SPA SERVICE - The hot tub and pool is serviced every Monday and Thursday by our maintenance pool guy who will access the backyard and be in and out quickly. Usually guests don’t even notice him, but just a heads up in case you see him servicing the spa.



Extra Guests after 6 guests:

An additional fee of $50 per night applies for each extra guest.



Interaction with Guests:

Host is available during your stay via Airbnb platform and phone.
