Doc's Lakeside Cabin est une excellente destination de vacances pour adultes juste pour une escapade et se détendre.
Nous sommes situĂ©s prĂšs de la forĂȘt nationale de Shawnee Hills le long de la Route des Vins Shawnee, dans l'Illinois du Sud. La cabine d'escapade de Doc se trouve Ă  environ 30 minutes au sud de Carbondale Illinois et Ă  25 minutes Ă  l'est de Cape Girardeau Missouri History Downtown Cape.
Le chalet surplombe un lac 6 acres oĂč vous pourrez profiter de la vue sur le lac spectaculaire de notre front projetĂ© dans la vĂ©randa ou bain Ă  remous. Nous avons Ă©galement construit un patio en pierre avec foyer et siĂšges.
Notre chalet se trouve Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la forĂȘt nationale de Shawnee, de la forĂȘt d'Ă©tat de Trail of Tears et de LaRue Pine Hills qui a des milliers d'acres Ă  explorer.
Vous trouverez notre cabine personnelle est joliment décorée pour tous les goûts.
Cabine spacieuse comprend Salon avec cheminée électrique avec plafond voûté et cuisine complÚte avec des ustensiles de cuisine. Une salle de bain complÚte et 2 chambres à coucher Chambre à coucher principale lit King Size et Guest Room Queen size bed.
Spot préféré - projeté dans le porche qui court la largeur de la cabine.
Cabine de Doc a été construit en 2012 et est situé dans le magnifique sud de l'Illinois, et a limité Satellite WiFi. Notre cabine personnelle est conçu comme une escapade romantique pour les adultes de plus de 25 ans.

A southern Illinois jewel

My wife and I had an amazing time exploring the surrounding area on our weekend getaway. Hiking and wineries and relaxing in the hot tub was exactly what we wanted. There’s so much to explore and we’ve just scratched the surface. We hope to make it back for another adventure soon.

Lovely Quiet Getaway!

My partner and I had a great time here. The weather never went about 50F, but that made the hot tub very nice! We will have to visit again when the weather is better. You can tell Tanya and company care a great deal for this property and for your stay, and I appreciate them having us!!

Beautiful and Serene

My wife and I chose Doc’s Lakeside Cabin for a weekend away. We arrived at the Cabin during heavy snowfall, and found the property owners quick to plough, salt and maintain the property so that we could come and go freely. The place far exceeded expectations, and is a truly beautiful, serene and tranquil place that is perfect for relaxation. It was so pretty with all of the snow, and made for perfect hot tub weather. The surrounding area has everything needed for a perfect adult getaway, with tons of wineries and nice restaurants in reasonable driving distance. My wife and I hope to return to Doc’s and possibly even book it for my parents as a thank you gift.

Enchanting Cabin in the Woods

My wife and I were looking for a nice cabin to get a little break away before the holidays. This one was perfect for a couple. Comfy bed and couch, fireplace, serene setting and nice hot tub. It was great to hop in the hot tub at night and stargaze. Beautiful setting, owners were extremely helpful. Anna is a few miles down the road with a couple of coffee shops, some good local restaurants, and a Walmart for groceries. Would 100% stay here again!

Amazing Cabin Stay – A Perfect Escape!

I recently stayed at this incredible cabin, and it exceeded every expectation! Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing with a good book or watching football on the big screen. The bedroom was comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sound of birds and the stunning view of the surrounding nature. Outside, the property offered plenty to explore. The private deck was ideal for morning coffee, and the fire pit made for memorable evenings under the stars. There were even trails nearby for hiking, and we enjoyed every moment of the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were wonderful—responsive, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to ensuring their guests have a great experience. I can’t recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating getaway. I’m already planning my next visit!

Girl trip success!

We stayed at Docs Cabin for a weekend girls trip and had the best time. The cabin is beautiful and in the most peaceful location. We enjoyed making pasta and drinking wine from nearby wineries. Coffee in the morning by the lake was the best way to begin our mornings. Highly recommend this location!

Peaceful Paradise

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Southern IL and stayed at Doc’s cabin for part of our stay. It provided exactly the escape from our busy work lives that we needed. We enjoyed fishing, coffee and meals in the screened in porch and all the other amenities. The cabin was beautiful, and every detail from furnishings to art was lovely. Everyone we met in town was kind and suggested new adventures for us. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The property was exactly as shown, with all the small touches you add in your own home. Tanya was great to work with, super friendly, and kind. The local area was perfect, we were able to visit KiKis coffee shop and a few loval woneries. The cabin was perfect and cozy. We plan to return !

Great getaway

We spent out 5yr anneversary here. The property is amazing. The cottage is very cozy and perfect for 1 couple with plenty of space. The hot top was nice with a great view. We spent some time hiking at some of the local state parks and explored Cape Giradeau which we enjoyed very much. Lovely little city!

20th Anniversary Getaway

Doc’s Lakeside Cabin was exactly what we were looking for in our anniversary getaway! This was our first time staying here and we are already planning our next trip. The private lake was a gorgeous view from sunrise to sunset! Tanya and Robert are very gracious hosts and they have made sure everything you could need is right there. 100/10 recommend :)
