Jersey City’s historic downtown is brimming with charm, from its cobblestone streets to its eclectic mix of cafes, boutiques, and restaurants. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops within a few blocks from the apartment! Newark Ave, a pedestrian-only walking street, is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops. 3 blocks away is Van Vorst Park, with lawns, playgrounds, a gazebo, and the occasional farmers market. Liberty State Park, with its breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty and NYC skyline, is also nearby.

The Grove St PATH Station for the train into NYC is about a 15 minute walk through cute residential streets.

Guests have full, private access to the bottom floor duplex apartment in the home as well as the private backyard. There are a couple stairs down to the entrance of the apartment and a set of stairs inside the apartment to get up to the bedrooms.

Public transportation to NYC and Newark Airport via the PATH train. The train is a 7 minute ride to the World Trade Center in Manhattan. Easy access by PATH train to Newark Airport and a 20 minute Uber or Lyft ride.

Parking is not included, but there are a few parking options. I like Columbus Garage LLC, 66 Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City, NJ 07302. I believe it’s $28 a day. It’s right next to the Grove Street Path into NYC.

Street parking is for residents only on weekdays, meaning there is a two hour limit on parking Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. Nights and weekends you can park on the street.

I booked this property for a family trip to NYC. The size of the home and the location were absolutely perfect. It was about a 10 minute walk to the PATH station to get into the city. There are also numerous stores and restaurants within a block or two of the home, making it extremely convenient. There are 2 separate bedrooms with en suites as well as a 3rd full bath on the main level. I didn’t realize that the apartment included 3 full baths, so this was a lovely surprise. There is a very nice outdoor space on the backside of the unit which was truly lovely. Also. As an FYI this property is the garden apartment, not the apartment with stairs leading up to it. I would have given the property 5 stars but there were a few items that need to be addressed before I would give a 5 star review. 1. Minimal towels were provided. 1 bath towel per person. We requested a few more towels but the management was unable to provide them. So we ended up washing and rewashing our towels almost every day. 2. The washing machine needs to be deep cleaned. It was rather funky. 3. The mattresses are on the firm to very firm side. We ended up purchasing some mattress toppers to help soften the beds. The pullout was also extremely uncomfortable. 4. There were multiple cabinets on the kitchen that were broken. One upper cabinet door fell off the hinges when we opened it to retrieve a plate. The door almost hit my mom in the head. Overall it was a great property but it needs some attention

Nicely Appointed

Excellent property. Clean, well appointed and well located. Cute 2 bedroom with 3 bathrooms and nice kitchen. Quiet location (for city) and easy six block walk to Jersey City’s City Hall. Would stay again.
