The property was clean and cozy and rather quirky. It was close to NYC and a short walk from a bus route. There was enough room for 4 people although the advertised 6 would have been a bit much. The biggest problem was that the bathroom was tiny. The area with the toilet was smaller than an airplane bathroom. You could barely sit or stand in the bathroom. The bathroom sink was tiny. It was unusable by one of our travelers who had a disability and had to relocate to a nearby motel. He simply could get in the bathroom and use it safely. The adjoining shower was also small and the celing was slanted because it was under the stairwell. There was only the one tiny bathroom under the stairwell on the ground floor and no bathroom upstairs. The stairs upstairs were also very narrow and it was difficult to move bags up them. Finally, the absence of a washer/dryer was difficult since we were staying there for a week. I must admit the decorations and the PACman machine were cool. The massage chair was also a nice amenity. But I wouldn't stay there again without a washer/dryer and a bigger bathroom. Overall, 3 stars.
