Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Only 1/2 mile off SR 30, Overlooking a large pond with a swimming area and beach. A massive 2-person shower and a hot tub are only a few things you will love about this retreat. This listing is for Villa and lake #2 and is what you are seeing in the photos. There is another Villa and Lake #1 on the same property. If you want to book both on the same days, you can do so by going to my profile and finding #1 there.
Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway with modern amenities or some fun around the lake and the campfire, you will be sure to find something you love. A massive two person walk in shower and a large glass sliding door that can be opened for a wide-open view directly overlooking the pond.
There is room to enjoy a nice walk around the pond or spend some time fishing (catch and release only). Or you can enjoy some time in the hot tub overlooking the water as the sun is setting, this peaceful getaway can be whatever you want it to, whether its romantic getaway with your significant other or an action packed fun time with the whole family, you will love what this place has to offer.
The space has two Bedrooms, both bedrooms have queen beds, there are 2-fold up half beds that are stored in the closets that can be used if needed for the 5th and 6th person, Feel free to setup camping tents outside in the grass area if you like.
There is a swimming area and an outdoor shower that can be used as you prefer. No lifeguard on duty so you will swim at your own risk. This property is not suitable for children, the pond is 25ft from the porch. Wear life vests anytime you are near the water.
Kayaks are available for you to enjoy.
Fishing is allowed (catch and release only) you will need to bring your own fishing poles and bait.
Firewood is provided for the campfire.
You will have the entire house and lake to yourself (Villa #2). There is another pond and villa similar to this one located on the same property but situated separately, refer to the photos to see the layout. Please keep your group to the pond and area of cabin 2.

Whispering Pines retreat is located only 1/2 mile off SR 30. 10 minutes from Wooster and 15 minutes from Ashland, and Mohican State Park/Loudonville OH is only a 20-minute drive if you are looking for hiking or canoeing on the Mohican river
(SEASONAL NOTE) During winter months and considering the fast weather changes we get here in Ohio, your outdoor activities and time fishing or on the lake can be very minimal due to snow and cold, when we have a lot of cold weather the entire lake may be frozen over, we keep the hot tub up and running all winter which is wonderful to spend time in when the temps are cold and the surroundings are covered in snow.
