If you're looking for a small getaway with privacy, seclusion, great location and to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is it! Our cabin has plenty of room to roam around with 10 private acres! Also offering free high speed WIFI. New hot tub is now up and running!

Phoenix Cabin offers 2 private bedrooms, one bedroom has a king size bed and the other bedroom has a queen size bed, 2 bathrooms, sleeping loft with 2 full size beds and a twin over twin bunk bed, a desk and chair for those that needs to work during their stay and a loft with a couch for reading or taking a nap overlooking the living room. Pets are considered. Approximate 1,550 square feet.

Phoenix Cabin is located just 4.5 miles to downtown West Jefferson, paved access off of state maintained road (graveled driveway), three tenths of a mile to the entrance of Twickenham House, approximately 10 minutes to Zaloos Canoes, less than 15 minutes to Mount Jefferson State Natural Area, and approximately 35 minutes to Boone.

Inside: As you enter, you're greeted with an open floor plan. The living room boasts comfortable seating, seasonal gas fireplace, Fire TV with streaming apps (you will need to use your login information), and doors that will lead to the outside deck.

Kitchen and Dining: The step-saver fully stocked kitchen has the modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, fridge, electric oven, cookware, dinnerware, Instant Pot, French press, Ninja Blender, and most everything needed to prepare a meal. The dining area can accommodate up to 6 guests and there is additional seating at the kitchen peninsula counter. The washer and dryer are in the hallway on the main floor. There is also a gas grill on the outside deck to grill your favorite steaks or burgers!

Sleeping: There are private 2 bedrooms on the main floor. Each bedroom has a flat screen FireTV with streaming apps. One bedroom has a king size bed and the 2nd bedroom offers a queen size bed. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo on the main floor just outside of the 2 bedrooms.

Upper Floor: As you travel upstairs, you will find the open sleeping loft with 2 full size beds, a set of twin over twin bunk beds and a flat screen Fire TV with streaming apps (using your own login information). There is also a full bathroom with a step in tiled shower. For those that has to work during your vacation, there is a computer desk and office chair in the loft. There is a couch, a bookcase with books and is a great place to curl up to read a book overlooking the living room below.

Pet Policy: Well behaved dogs are welcome with a $100 pet fee per pet and must be approved by management. There is a 2 dog limit. We also require our guests to clean up after their pet's “business” to avoid additional cleaning fees and pets are not allowed on the furniture. There is a nice metal 10x10x6 dog pen for your dog to be outside and yet be safe. Guest must sign a Pet Addendum for approval of your pet (no cats or puppies permitted).

Outside: Relax in our new 6 person hot tub and do some stargazing! A great way to end the day! Enjoy the outdoor gas fire pit on the deck with rocking chairs. There is also a wood burning outdoor fire pit (wood not provided). We have 10 acres so there is plenty of privacy and room to roam. However, our cabin does sit near a state maintained road but is hidden by trees and shrubs.

***Important Notes:
-Tire chains and 4WD/AWD may be necessary during the winter months.
-The owners may use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home.
-There is no land-line phone in our cabins. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
-No Smoking or vaping inside the cabin.
-Minimum age requirement is 25 years old
-Check in time: 4:00 PM; Check out time: 10:00 AM
-NO house parties permitted.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, and some foggy days with occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is YOUR responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
