While renting a scooter can be a fun way to get around the Jan Thiel area, it’s not the most practical option for longer distances due to steep hills, higher-speed roads, and limited access to remote areas.



Public transportation is available and can take you to some of the island’s main hubs, but buses don’t run frequently, and schedules can be unpredictable, so planning ahead is essential.
