The Birk House - with Hot Tub!

Welcome to the Birk House! Perfect for couples, families, friends or business; short term or long term stays. This 1947 home is situated in the established neighborhood of Lake Shore on a safe street. Minutes away from downtown, NAS, Murray Hill, Avondale and Riverside. Also close to I-10/I-95/I-295 interstates. The backyard is spacious, fenced-in and outfitted with a grill, Adirondack chairs and a hot tub set under twinkling string lights. Get ready to feel like you're right at home!

The space:
This cozy 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home has a fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area, a functional dining space, and a beautiful sunroom. While vintage in character with original hardwood floors, there are plenty of modern conveniences such as central A/C, Wifi, and a smart TV. Washer and dryer are available to use in the detached garage. You will have the entire place to yourself. It is fully furnished with everything you need and more!

Guest access:
Guests will have access to the entire house except the locked utility closet in the hall. Guests will also have access to the backyard, hot tub, grill, and the detached garage for use of the washer/dryer.

Other things to note:
There is an active Ring camera installed in front of the house.

Keyless entry for easy access through the front door. The property is well lit at night for your safety.

Ample parking in the driveway, enough for 3 vehicles. Do not parallel park along the street.

There is a Keurig coffee maker with a wide selection of K cups, creamer and sugar. There is also a bowl of light snacks and waters in the refrigerator for your enjoyment.

Extra toilet paper and paper towels are under the kitchen sink.

Smart TV allows for guests to use streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.) with their own accounts.

We can accommodate up to 6 guests (4 guests comfortably). There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, and a pull-out couch in the living room to accommodate 2 people. To use the pull-out couch, simply slide the coffee table against the tv wall, remove the couch cushions, and pull out the bed.

Early check-in is only available if there are no back-to-back reservations. Late check-out will not be available if there is a reservation following yours. If early check-in and/or late check-out is an option, we will require a $50 fee for 1-2 hours, or $100 for 2-3 hours.
