About the Property

Ocean Lookout is a newly constructed oceanfront property with 3 separate units. You are renting one unit on the property - not the entire property.

In addition to the large oceanfront deck exclusively for this unit, you will have full access to all common areas of the property. Oceanside, the property features a large seasonally heated pool, plenty of lounge chairs, two gas grills, multiple dining areas, and an outdoor shower. Best of all, Ocean Lookout has access to a private beach walkover that makes getting to the shoreline a delight and one you won`t forget.

Self check-in via coded smart lock. Guests have access to their unit and its private oceanfront deck, the shared beach walkover, and the entire pool deck common space.

IMPORTANT NOTES
• There is parking for 2 cars available for your stay! Please note that the parking is tandem (one car in front of the other). The space is 37 feet long which will generally fit two cars, but will not fit 2 large SUVs or trucks. Please confirm that both of your cars will fit and remember to leave a foot or two for space in between them. If your cars are too long or you need parking for a 3rd car, an additional space can be rented from the next door neighbor for $10/day.
• Dog-friendly for up to two dogs! We have a 50-pound weight limit per dog and all dogs must be approved prior to check-in. The pet fee is $250. Please note pets are not allowed in the pool or on the pool deck.
• Ocean Lookout is a newly constructed ocean front property with 3 separate units. You are renting one unit on the property - not the entire property.
• The pool is heated in cooler/colder months. Please note that a heated pool is not as hot as a hot tub. While the pool heater is sufficient to heat the pool throughout the majority of the winter, it will generally not be able to properly heat the pool if the temperature drops below 50 degrees.
• There are a few steps from the parking area down to the elevator.

Neighborhood Overview:

Ocean Lookout is centrally located approximately halfway down the island and is a quick drive to all of the island`s best dining and shopping.

Within a mile or two, you can enjoy dining and live music at The Surf or Slider`s, or ice cream from several local treat spots.

To the north, you will find Main Beach which features the Salt Life and Sandbar Kitchen restaurants, a playground, and beachside putt putt golf. From there, Amelia Island`s downtown historic district is just a short drive down Atlantic Avenue. There you will find plenty of wonderful restaurants, shopping, nightlife and local culture. Fort Clinch State Park is also located along Atlantic Avenue. The park features the 19th century Fort Clinch (still open to the public for tours), a great beach, and lots of beautiful trails for hiking or biking.

The South end of the island boasts several wonderful restaurants, the Ritz and Omni resorts, a picturesque canopy biking trail, and charming local boutiques. We recommend checking out the Ritz spa if you are looking for a relaxing treat!

Getting Around:

Amelia Island is a small area and is easy to navigate! There is free parking available throughout the entire island, making driving very easy to any place you choose to visit.

Although Uber/Lyft are not very reliable on the island (we strongly recommend bringing a car), they are available through the app on your smartphone.

Bike rentals are available at `The Beach Store` located 1 mile north of Ocean Lookout. Riptide Watersports also delivers bikes.
