The drive onto the property immediately encourages you to slow down - wide open spaces, fresh mountain air, and the gentle sounds of nature create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, it's clear this country farmhouse blends rustic charm with the comforts of home.

The home comfortably sleeps up to seven guests and features four private bedrooms, making it ideal for couples, families, horse enthusiasts, or small groups traveling together. Sleeping arrangements include one king bed, two queen beds, and one twin bed. With three full bathrooms, mornings feel relaxed rather than rushed.

The fourth bedroom is located in the basement that you can access from inside the home or from the private exterior entrance. This bedroom has an en suite bathroom and kitchenette.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to settle in, whether you're preparing a hearty farmhouse breakfast before spending the day outdoors or cooking dinner together after exploring the New River Valley. It includes all necessary appliances appliances, a traditional coffee maker and k cup coffee maker, and all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Coffee is provided to help you start each morning.



A washer and dryer are available for longer stays, and the home is fully climate-controlled with heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort.



The spacious living room offers comfortable seating and beautiful countryside views, creating the perfect place to gather for conversation, board games, or simply relax after a day of adventure.

Horse owners are welcome to bring their horses along, with four horse stalls available for guest use. Whether you're here for outdoor adventure or simply looking to disconnect from the busyness of everyday life, the farm provides the perfect setting to relax and recharge.

This pet-friendly farmhouse welcomes up to two dogs. Thoughtful outdoor space and a large fenced yard allow your four-legged family members to enjoy the property alongside you. Simply close the entrance gate to fully enclose the yard. A pet fee of $50 per pet (maximum two pets) applies.

Things to Know Before You Book



• Cripple Creek Farm is a working hay farm. During harvest season you may occasionally see farmers working in the fields.

• Four horse stalls are available for guest use. Guests are responsible for providing feed, water buckets, and caring for their horses. You must clean up after your horses.

• The property includes a creek for fishing. Children should always be supervised around the water.

• The spacious yard is fenced. To fully enclose the yard for pets, please close the entrance gate after arriving.

• Rural location - wildlife is abundant in the area. Please do not feed or approach wildlife, and be sure all trash is properly secured.

• Approximately one mile of well-maintained gravel road leads to the property.

• WiFi is available, though rural speeds may vary.

• Coffee maker is a traditional drip coffee pot and k cup coffee maker

• Pet fee applies. Please follow local leash laws when outside the fenced yard and always clean up after your pet.

• Quiet hours are encouraged from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM to preserve the peaceful setting.

• Fireworks and firearms are prohibited on New River Getaways properties.

• No events or parties.

• No smoking or vaping.

• Early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability and may be added for an additional $20.

• Exterior security cameras monitor the driveway and exterior entrances only. There are no interior cameras.
