Welcome to 30 Beachwood East, a comfortable 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home located just steps from the ocean in Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms. With ocean views, a large private pool (heatable for a fee), and multiple decks, this spacious beach house is the perfect retreat for a relaxing and quiet getaway with family or friends.

Living Area:
The first floor offers two living rooms, each with large flat-screen TVs, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. Both the kitchen and dining room open to a deck with ocean views overlooking the pool.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, ideal for preparing meals during your stay. The dining area offers ample seating and access to the outdoor deck.

Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: King-size bed with en-suite bathroom.
Primary Bedroom: King-size bed, ocean views, and a newly renovated en-suite bathroom featuring a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity sinks.
Bedroom 3: Queen-size bed with en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 4: Located on the second floor, features two twin daybeds with twin trundles, accommodating up to four guests. This bedroom also has access to a newly renovated full bathroom and a private balcony with ocean views.

Isle of Palms get away

Overall this is an amazing property and we enjoyed being there. The space in the house was ample for our family of 7. The ice maker next to the refrigerator was a huge plus for us as well. Having younger kids, the pool was a huge success! The proximity to the beach is amazing and we took advantage of many walks. It was lovely not having to load kids etc in a car and driving to the beach. We were able to collect many shells and were fortunate to find complete sand dollars. There are some ongoing maintenance issues including outdoor furniture needing replaced.

OK/Not OK ? if you would like to be close to the beach

Overall we would like to rate this house and our stay a 2 star. The house has a perfect location, is large to host a family and is close to the beach, which is perfect for long walks. It has a very large pool, however very old, but one of the nice things to have in summer. We were only staying with the 4 of us. On the website this house looks immaculate as most houses do mostly on vacation websites. In general this particular house we have stayed in is worn out and need a decent facelift in order to rent it out for the price we paid. When entering the house there was an extreme smell of mold which was hanging the 4 nights we stayed even when opening the windows and outside doors. Kitchen appliances had been renewed but the kitchen infrastructure is dating back from the last century. Sofa’s, lounges, carpets, salon chairs and furniture are worn out and have several stains and discoloration. The master bedroom and bathroom had some renovations done and was OK to accommodate ourselves. Most doors to the outside terrace are rusty and are experiencing wood rot. The pool is very large but also very old being patched frequently and several tiles need to be replaced. The garage is far from being clean as well as the toilet inside the garage, and it can be easily accessed to anyone as there are no locks whatsoever to properly secure the property. Overall, not such a nice experience and we would recommend doing a thorough face lift before renting again.

Great House

The location of the house, across the road from the beach, is fantastic. Several rooms have ocean views between the houses on the beach side of the road, and one can hear the waves at night. The private pool is large and a major plus. The layout of the house is excellent, with two large living rooms each large enough for eight or so people to lounge comfortably. The house has some minor maintenance issues, such as a screen door that does not close properly and some electrical outlet problems. But overall, this is a great property, highly recommended. We would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful home in fabulous location

We rented this house for my daughter's wedding weekend. My immediate family stayed in the house. It is decorated beautifully, it is clean and very livable. The entire space has spectacular views of the ocean, and the beach is just steps away. When sitting on the spacious back deck overlooking the pool, you can see the ocean and feel the ocean breeze. The living space is large and accommodates everyone comfortably. The property manager responded quickly to my questions and the entire process was simple and efficient. The only reason I don't want to recommend this house is that I don't want it to be rented the next time we visit Wild Dunes because we will want to stay in this same property again!

Oceanview

The accommodations worked out very well for our family of 8 adults and two young children. Pack and Play fit snugly in each of two small bedrooms. Beds were comfortable in the three bedrooms on the main floor. However, the loft has two trundle beds and the mattresses were so uncomfortable! The two young adults could not sleep because of the 'springs'. They had to sleep on the couches which was not ideal for the morning when families woke up. The pool was cleaned mid-week which was great. Family enjoyed the pool after a long morning and early afternoon at the beach. The kitchen has an ice machine which was so helpful. The screen-in porch was a plus to accommodate all the pool bags before entering the kitchen. Ample parking for four cars. Would definitley rent again.

House is in need of updating/repairs, but great location and it was clean. Nice space with plenty of bathrooms for family. Furniture in living room is pretty shot. Rugs definitely need non-slip pads. Shower head in 2nd King BR falls off. Screen door on porch needs to be repaired/replaced. Fence is broken.Rat in garage. Latch broken on rear gate. Guys coming in the garage for trash without letting us know was a little disconcerting (ie: random people entering the garage)

Isle of Palms Get-a-way weekend

The pictures do not do justice to this property. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. And it was nice to have the pool. We would definitely come back. Thank the owners for us!!!Had a great time!
