Looking for the perfect oceanside getaway on the Isle of Palms? You’ve found it! This 1-bedroom ocean view condo in Port O'Call is the newest addition to the Island Realty Rental Program and is sure to be highly sought after. Situated within the gated Wild Dunes Resort, you'll enjoy access to world-class golf, exciting local restaurants, and miles of bike and running trails. Or you can simply relax and unwind by the community pool or the ocean just steps away. This is the ideal getaway for any island vacationer!

**Important Notice: Please be advised that a siding and window construction project will be taking place on all Port O' Call buildings except for Building D. The work is scheduled to start on November 4th and continue through mid-March. During this period, guests may experience construction noise from adjacent buildings.**

**ATTENTION GUESTS: During high tide there is minimal beach available for beach walking or lounging. Some neighboring complexes may have sand bags out to protect their dunes from erosion. Please do not attempt to walk on the dunes or sand bags.**

Very nice property located in a very nice area. The unit was well equipped. The main recommendation that I would have for this unit is I would get the appropriate size mattress topper for the mattress. The mattress topper was about 6 in too narrow on each side of the bed. Parking was a little limited as well. Overall a nice property and I would not hesitate to stay there again

October in Isle of Palms is lovely.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For a one-bedroom apartment, it was spacious enough to have some family members come to visit. The view from the porch to the ocean was great even though it was not an ocean front unit. A short and level walk to the ocean was perfect. If you choose this unit, make sure the building owner has the elevator turned on and in service mode. I had to take luggage up and down 2 flights of stairs and never had elevator service during my 4 nights stay.

Overall great stay. We had a few issues but they were all addressed quickly and kindly by the staff. We did have some incredibly noisy neighbors above us but that isn’t the fault of the rental. We also had trouble with the tvs and lights and hot water heater. Wish there were two bathrooms, this room is definitely meant for just a couple. We had three adults and one child and it was very cramped. Wish there was more storage especially in the kitchen, we lived out of grocery bags and suitcases all week which was kind of a pain but fine. The rental was beautiful, had an escalator which was HUGELY helpful I didn’t expect it so that was great. Lovely view. The walkway down to the beach was a little difficult for us to get up and down because of erosion it was very narrow and deep so you kind of slide down it.

Some issues made for disappointment

The property was as expected but had issues. #1 no working elevator during 3 day stay on 2nd floor #2 was given the wrong door code # on check in and it got resolved but was difficult getting someone on the phone after climbing stairs with luggage it was a bad initial impression #3 the pillow top bed had a piece of foam layered under the mattress protector that was smaller than the bed and was totally annoying. The bed had no need for this. We removed it because it was hot,and we felt like the bed had swallowed us. It was ridiculous. The home was otherwise good.
