Take advantage of the six miles of wide beaches, fishing, kayaking, boating and eco-tours on Isle of Palms by day and enjoy the fabulous foodie & cultural delights of downtown Charleston or nearby Mt. Pleasant or Sullivans Island at night. Historic Charleston is a 20 minute drive from the home and the beach is a 6 minute walk from the house. Upon entering the home you will find a dining area, living room, a fully stocked kitchen and hallway to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All the rooms in this unit are on the same floor. Guests are also welcome to utilize the covered deck with outdoor dining table, gas BBQ grill and outdoor shower. The washing machine and dryer are located in the laundry room off of the kitchen. Off-street parking on the driveway immediately in front of Unit B for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

Please note that long term tenants reside in the upstairs unit and access the detached building in the backyard. Upstairs renters share the backyard with the downstairs guests. Crossover noise between the units - especially on the ceilings in The Blue Oyster - is to be expected.

Our multi generational family enjoyed our stay at the blue oyster! It was exactly as described in the listing. We found it very clean and comfortable upon arrival. The outside shower was so convenient when we returned from the beach (a super short walk to get there!). Owners were great at communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

Nice condo and very close to beach. Place was nicely furnished and recently remodeled. Having a fenced in yard was great for our dog Teddy. Lots of things are walking distance from the condo including grocery stores and restaurants. We plan to stay here again!

4th of July Family Vacation

My family of 4 stayed here over the 4th weekend! It was the perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and renting a golf cart to head over to the grocery store or restaurants works perfect. The hosts provided great communication throughout the trip. Location was clean and offered all of the amenities we needed. We will be back!

Best Stay Yet!

We've been going to Isle of Palms for several years now, and each year we book a different stay, either because the previous year's location wasn't that great, or the property is no longer being offered. This year, we finally found our ideal yearly stay! As soon as the dates open up, I'm booking The Blue Oyster for my family next year. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and the back porch, yard, and shower for post-beach cleanup of ourselves and our pets was more than perfect. We cant wait to stay there again next year, and hopefully the years that follow!

We had the best time staying at The Blue Oyster! We came for a long weekend with a group of 8 girls. When we arrived, everything was very clean, and the hosts had left the sweetest little welcome gift! The beds were all very comfortable- bunk room included! It's a super short walk to the beach, and the street that the unit is on is gorgeous. We felt very comfortable and very safe here. Everyone in our group talked about how cute the decor was, and the outdoor shower was such a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Isle of palms stay

Perfect vacation rental, lovely, large fenced in backyard, our pup loved it, quiet, friendly neighborhood. Very clean, great beds and furniture, love the couch especially. Host's were very accommodating, we booked extra days at the last min, didn't want to leave, beautiful beach minutes away. Very nice welcome gift also. Thank you, can't wait to return....

well thought out property

They made smart use of every square inch of this property.. especially loved the outside shower area to get everyone cleaned off before coming in the house. The back yard was great for our service dog, and the laundry room was perfect for getting things stored until we needed them
 only thing I would add would be some hooks in the laundry room to hang towels that are wet but not sandy from the outdoor shower so that you can throw them in the beach bag the next day !

The Blue Oyster - Isle of Palms

We had a wonderful stay with itrip in their Isle of Palms home, The Blue Oyster! Upon arrival, we were happy to find the home bright and inviting. It was a great space for us to relax, play card games at the large dining room table and set up some games in the large, fenced in backyard. Our favorite thing about this stay was the location. It was a convenient 5 minute walk to the beach and only a short 15-20 minute drive to the other hot spots like the Shem's Creek area and downtown Charleston. The private outdoor shower area was a bonus for us to be able to rinse off any sand we brought back with us from the beach before heading inside. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend others to book this home with itrip!

Adorable place in the perfect location

We had the best time at The Blue Oyster! This home was sparkling clean, perfectly furnished and outfitted, and in an absolutely perfect location. We loved the comfy sectional for relaxing at the end of the day and had a wonderful outdoor dinner in the beautiful yard. Our kids loved the bunk room and the primary suite bed was the most comfortable we have slept in away from home. My husband and I both commented that the hosts had thought of everything in this house as far as little touches. This is an amazing location - 5-6 minute walk to the beach access and close to dining, groceries, and shops. Our hosts could not have been friendlier. Thank you for an amazing trip - we can't wait to come back!

Average house and poor rental company

The house was ok. Had some major issues with floor damage in master bedroom that almost cut my wife’s foot on sharp edges. Toilet in the guest bathroom was not attached to the ground. Yard was not kept up as the grass was extremely tall. The upstairs renters were extremely loud and made a lot of noise in the middle of the night and early in the morning. Rental company hits you with a ton of hidden fees. Weeks after booking they hit you with extreme dog fees. If I pick a dog friendly house and note I am bringing dogs then the fees should be included and up front. Notes all texes and fees included but that is a lie. I would not stay with this company again. Location was good. Also worried someone was living in she shed in backyard without us knowing.
