The cottage has a wood burner to add to the ambience in the cooler evenings, and patio doors open up from the kitchen/dining room to the enclosed garden area, which make this ideal for a summer BBQ. Outside, guests can relax in the quiet rural surroundings, with an eating area overlooking a field or simply enjoy lounging in the sun in the various comfy seating areas. Follow the private pathway from the garden to cross the road to Sandbraes Park, which has a children’s play area and beach. This large open park is a great place for family picnics and outdoor games. The local village of Whiting Bay has convenience stores, a bar, restaurant and café, along with a putting green, bowling green and a golf club to keep all the family entertained.
