Unwind in the opulent lounge, complete with a cosy logburner, or gather in the spacious kitchen-dining room, complete with secret bar area. Outside, relax in our beautiful garden with private hot tub & outdoor seating.
Blythewood is a stylish five bedroom, self-catering holiday home in the popular Aberdeenshire town of Kemnay, just a short drive from Inverurie, Aberdeen and beautiful Royal Deeside.
The holiday home has been recently renovated to a high standard throughout, and is filled with luxurious décor and beautiful finishes, which will make you feel right at home during your stay.
On entering Blythewood through our panelled entrance hall, you will find our cosy Living Room, located to the front of the property, which features beautiful wall panelling and traditional detailing. Our comfortable sofas invite you to gather around our cosy log-burning fire, a favourite spot of our guests in the evenings. This room has a large smart TV with services such as Netflix and Disney+ available for streaming TV or watching films.
The heart of Blythewood is our fantastic open-plan kitchen with dining and living areas overlooking the private garden. The sleek, modern kitchen ensures Blythewood is perfect for self-catering stays, and is well equipped with a double oven, induction hob and dishwasher, whether you wish to cook a delicious meal or treat yourself to a takeaway. The living area features a large, sumptuous sofa and smart TV, perfect for relaxing together with your feet up, while the large dining table seats up to 10 guests.
Adjoining the Kitchen is our fun Bar area with a speakeasy feel, complete with comfortable chairs and tables, and a drinks cabinet full of glasses and tools for mixing up your favourite cocktails.Our guests love this spot for hosting pub quizzes, plating board games, and having a relaxing drink before dinner.
Our luxurious Master Bedroom is located on the ground floor, with super-kingsize bed, which can be split into two single beds should you require an alternative set-up. The beautifully appointed bedroom features plenty of storage space for unpacking items, and has a large bay window overlooking the front garden. An en-suite shower room is accessed through the bedroom, featuring a large walk-in shower and luxurious rainfall shower head, sink and toilet.
Along the hallway on the ground floor is our fun Bunk Room, which can sleep two people in full size single bunks.
There is a WC with toilet and sink located on the ground floor and accessed from the hallway.
Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms, all featuring comfortable, super-kingsize beds, and high quality linens.Bedroom 2 has its own luxurious en-suite bathroom, with toilet, sink, large walk-in shower and relaxing free-standing bathtub.Bedrooms 3 &4 have dressing tables by the windows with lots of natural light, along with plenty of hanging space for unpacking items during your stay.
All upstairs bedrooms have super-kingsize beds as standard, which can be split into two single beds should you require an alternative set-up.
Bath towels, soft robes and luxurious toiletries from Fine Scottish Soaps are provided for all guests.
A small office space with desk provides a quiet workstation should you wish to catch up on emails during your stay, accesse from the landing.
Our stylish family shower room is located on the first floor, with toilet, sink and large walk in shower.
Our utility room can be found just off the kitchen and has a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink for guests to use during their stay. There is an outdoor washing line should you wish to dry clothes in the garden.
In the Garden, guests can find our fantastic Hot Tub area, which is covered and lit by soft string lights on darker evenings. There is a covered outdoor dining area with large BBQ available for use.
Our comfortable outdoor seating area features comfortable outdoor sofas and armchairs for relaxing in the Aberdeenshire sunshine. In the evenings, guests can keep cosy around our garden firepit while enjoying a glass of wine. There is a large lawn area, and we have a selection of garden games to enjoy.
Through the garden, guests can discover our secret games room, complete with dart board, pool table and bar area. There is also a gym area, which guests are welcome to use during their stay.
We also have a storage room should you wish to bring bikes or skis, along with a WC with toilet and sink, located next to the hot tub.

The entire house is available for guests to use with entry via a lockbox. There is an extensive garden surrounding the property, with a relaxing, lit hot tub area, dining area with BBQ, lawn area, and outdoor seating for you to enjoy.
