The building was condemned, I didn't stay there. I had to get a different hotel. I've tried to get a refund from hotels.com and you won't give me one. Check my file, I've sent multiple emails and direct messages through X. I've shared an image of the notice that was on the locked door of the office of the hotel that clearly states the property is not suitable for human inhabitants.
Went to check in after driving for 14 hoursâŠthey said they didnât have a room for the 3 of us and that someone was supposed to check out that day but they decided to stay. They offered us a room with a cotâŠI asked if they had my reservation and they said yesâŠ.i was furious..room was not cleanâŠno towels or beddingâŠsince nothing else was available I stayedâŠ.never again!
Super simple room to stay a night on our way to northern Ontario to fish. Quiet area. Not for spouses with higher expectations. Inexpensive and checks the boxes for a simple place to stay.
The motel is old and the room air conditioner did not keep the room cool. I had to ask for soap and a glass for water. Very dingy and dark. I only needed one night so it was good enough for that.
Had to ask for towels, wash cloths and toilet paper. The internet/ Wi-Fi did not work. The property was poorly maintained and the staff were poorly trained.
Will NEVER stay there again!
Rooms weren't available at check in and when I tried to get a refund the hotel reported us as a no show. Then they changed their story to us using 1 of the 2 rooms booked. Annoying and terrible service.
The price was good. The clerk on staff was okay but the situation he had to manage was really sad with very little to work with. The place was really rundown and in need of maintenance.
This hotel is very very dated, old beds, old bed spreads, stained sheets. At check in, the person said they didnât have towels or soaps (only hand lotions) He eventually gave us some flimsy clean towels. We paid $85 for the night, which I think is overpriced for what were provided.
While the property looked ok from the outside, the inside was very dated. The air and TV in our room didn't work. There were no towels in the room and hot water was spotty at best. In spite of all this, the young man who was working the counter was extremely attentive and worked within his means to make things right. On the plus side, the room was very clean, however very dated.
Pizza rolls and chips were in my room when I checked in and we arenât sure if it was cleaned. The outside door was locked and couldnât get it opened
