What an incredible home. So much more than I was expecting. The artwork, the soft furnishings, the spaciousness, just wow. The fact that it was an older home only occurred to me when I really started to look around. It was then that both my partner and I felt a warm remembrance of our childhoods. The tiny spot where you can spy the old terrazzo floor, the wood framed windows with stained glass decoration, the color of the tiles in the bathrooms. Just a joy!If you love to cook, the kitchen is appointed with brand names such as le Cruesuet, Viking and All Clad. Because of the quality, everything is in top notch shape. There are even Yeti cups and coolers to use for your stay. Not a single thing has been overlooked. The organization of every single cabinet is something I aspire to. Everything from washing machine pods to parchment paper to smoked salt is exactly where youâd expect to find it. A huge amount of outdoor space makes it very easy to get some quiet time if wanted. When the listing says the beach is only 40 steps away, they truly mean it. Not only that, but the beach was not busy at all. It is public access, but there is no parking on the street, so I imagine that keeps a lot of people away. The host was just lovely. Communication was quick, friendly and helpful. Donât miss a chance to stay at this home. You wonât be sorry. Itâs one of the best places weâve ever stayed.
