It is 2km to Wernigerode with its sights (castle, town hall, old town etc.) and 4km to Ilsenburg with the beautiful Ilsetal. You can also visit the monastery with its gardens in Drübeck. There are two very good restaurants near the apartment.

Some canal and pipe work is being carried out on the street by the cabin until the end of September.
