The space
We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for a delightful and rejuvenating stay at our property. Nestled in a tranquil valley, our home offers a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and natural beauty, ensuring that you will have a memorable break.

As you approach our property, a picturesque drive of approximately 100 meters leads you to our doorstep. The drive has a gentle stream that runs along the property's border, setting the scene for a peaceful getaway.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a tastefully decorated and well-maintained home that exudes warmth and character. We take pride in preserving its original features while providing modern conveniences for your comfort. Equipped with a 65 & 70 -inch Tv downstairs and a 60-inch Smart TV In the double window Super-king bedroom.Smart speakers throughout the house, you'll have everything you need to stay connected or unwind with your favourite shows and music.

Enter through the main door and porch, and you'll find two welcoming spaces. To your left is the lounge or evening room, Where you can cozy up with a good book or watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV. The adjacent area has a charming Rayburn and Baby Grand piano, making it the perfect setting for memorable moments with loved ones.

On the other side, you'll discover the kitchen and day room, thoughtfully designed to cater to your culinary adventures. With a large central island for cooking and entertaining, you'll find all the amenities necessary to prepare your favorite dishes. The abundance of windows and French doors in this space ensures stunning views of the gardens, filling the room with natural light.

Throughout your stay, you can enjoy our high-speed internet, boasting speeds of up to 110mbps, ensuring seamless streaming and connectivity.

Upstairs, you'll find four comfortable bedrooms, each offering its own unique charm and views. The Pink room boasts a Super King bed with zip and link options for your convenience, while the Green and Silver rooms feature inviting King-sized beds. The White room, perfect for younger guests or teenagers, can be adapted with a teepee and entertainment options for their enjoyment.

The spacious bathroom is a haven of relaxation, featuring a large cast iron Victorian bath with a refreshing rain shower overhead. After a day of exploring the countryside, there's nothing like unwinding in the bath while gazing out of the large windows overlooking the rural landscape. There is an additional toilet downstairs.

For added peace of mind, the upper garden and house area are enclosed with secure fencing and gates, making it ideal for families with pets or young children.

If you love outdoor activities, our front lawn is a vast open space where you can engage in a friendly game of cricket or football. As the evening approaches, gather around the large fire pit to toast marshmallows, enjoy a glass of wine, and make lasting memories.

As night falls, you're in for a treat. Our proximity to the dark skies and Exmoor National Park provides the perfect opportunity to marvel at the awe-inspiring Milky Way. You can simply relax, listen to music, and stargaze from the comfort of a chair.

Parking is plentiful, and despite the peaceful seclusion of our property, you're less than a mile away from the vibrant village, offering easy access to local amenities.

During your stay, keep an eye out for our adorable hedgehog visitors, and if you wish, feel free to leave food for them to enjoy.

Other things to note
At our property, we absolutely adore our four-legged friends and understand that they are an integral part of your family. That's why we are delighted to welcome your fur babies to join you on your countryside retreat! For a nominal fee of £30 per dog, your first furry companion can enjoy the comforts of our home for the entire stay, with each additional dog charged at just £20.00.

We supply dog towels, dog beds, bowls and blankets for our fury family.

To ensure the utmost comfort and cleanliness, we kindly request that dogs are kept restricted to the downstairs area only. This helps maintain the condition of our upstairs spaces and helps towards any guests that check in that may have allergies .

We understand that sometimes dogs love to snuggle up on the couch, so we've thoughtfully provided blankets to protect our soft furnishings. Feel free to use these to create a cozy and comfortable spot for your furry companions while you relax in the lounge.

For your convenience, we have water bowls for the fur babies so you can place them around in kitchen and outside to keep your fur babies hydrated and content throughout their stay. Plus, we have a dedicated fenced area where your pups can stretch their legs and play in a secure and enjoyable environment.

We do have a pet sitting service as we request that fur babies are not left alone in the house unless they are crated.

Rest assured, we take hygiene and cleanliness seriously. Our linen is outsourced to a reputable laundry company that uses high-temperature machines, ensuring all linens are hotel-quality and free from any unwelcome viruses or allergens. Additionally, the entire house is professionally cleaned by a commercial company, so you can enjoy a pristine and fresh living space during your visit.
