Hello. I'm really sorry but there is just no way we could leave a 5 star review.There are a lot of issues at the Lodge. It really needs some cleaning and updating. The shower head in the ensuite only stands up straight so that if you turn it on it would literally flood the bathroom. Other than up straight it doesn't work, completely the wrong head for the attachment. Lack of serving dishes, and utensils, chipped plates, cracked mugs, cutlery is very poor, bends if you are cutting anything. Cheese grater handle broken. Frying pan handle loose, we had to tighten it for safety reasons. Windows are in need of new units as seals have failed, so looks like condensation. Furniture could do with a good clean. Patio door sticks so not easy to open or close. Skirting need a good wash down. Steps up to property has a back board missing, which is on the decking. Freezer compartment top shelf is broken. Also is turned up too high as is the fridge. Bathroom floors need a good scrub. Black mould on tiles around bath. Door tread entering property needs cleaning. Plus doors in whole property need cleaning. I have photos I could send to you. Also listing says Seaview. If you have great vision and stand in the corner of the decking you can just about make it out on a clear day. The plant on the table is artificial, no problem, but someone has watered it so the mat underneath is mouldy, we left this outside. All in all quite disappointed. Would we stay again? Beautiful Lodge spotlessly clen

This is really a jewell of a find. The lodge is big and airy and has plenty of space. The bedrooms are a really nice size. Two contain small double beds and one has two singles. My husband and and I have a super king bed at home so we just used the two doubles rather than fight with each other over space. It was a. dry cold weekend but the lodge is very well heated. I totally agree with earlier posts about locating the lodge. it’s really tricky and took us nearly an hour to find. So, for those of you that are going to stay, here’s how to find it easily. Turn right after entering the park, go down four roads, turn left into the fourth turning. Go slowly along and you will see a lodge that sticks out on the left. This is number 50. Turn left in front of No.50 It looks like a parking space but it’s not. Follow to the left then turn right and 64 is just along on the right side.
