The large, enclosed garden is laid to lawn and is a peaceful haven where you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in the Devon sunshine.


The historic harbour town of Ilfracombe is the perfect place to while away a summer’s afternoon. Potter around the attractive harbour, admiring Damien Hirst’s Verity statue, or perhaps hop on a boat for a trip around the bay. Alternatively, grab your buckets and spades and head to Woolacombe, for a day of sandcastle building, surfing, and beach games on the 3-mile stretch of golden sand. If it’s peace and tranquillity you’re after, spend the day on Exmoor National Park (5 miles), following the remote tracks and trails and marvelling at the local wildlife.
