Almost Heaven! A charming cabin on the creek walk to town with spa

"Almost Heaven" is a charming cabin located on Strawberry Creek, just a short walk from town. The original cabin, built in 1923, has been expanded to four bedrooms and three bathrooms, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. The spacious yet inviting interior features a grand room with a brick fireplace, handmade vintage cedar furniture, and a 65” smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen includes a cozy gathering space with a Franklin stove and a coffee bar. Outside, the back deck overlooks a grove of trees and a seasonal creek, and features a jacuzzi and a 12’ cedar picnic table. The cabin also offers a washer/dryer, a barbecue, and a front porch to enjoy the morning sunlight.

The 3rd bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower is located between the grand room and the kitchen.
Bedroom #2 - Two double beds with jack & jill bathroom shared with Bedroom #1.
Bedroom #3 - Queen bed with a rustic pine frame and cozy sitting area, also deck side (note: the bathroom is accessible through Bedroom #2 or off-deck, through the kitchen)
Bedroom #4 - King bed and private bath that looks out onto the deck.

This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations Allowed for November, December, and January

- NO ANIMALS ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. SERVICE ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED DUE TO THE HOMEOWNER BEING ALLERGIC. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.

- Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles.

- County permit number: 001444

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2, we no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21. Those under 25 will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.

Seasonal wood delivery: There is a $28 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces) if available. Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.
