Cozy home along the adventure corridor to Glacier National Park

Our cozy home is nestled in the small mountain community of Hungry Horse, Montana. Surrounded by wild beauty, our home is the perfect centralized location for endless adventures along the adventure corridor of Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness area.
We are located only 10 miles from the West entrance to Glacier National Park. It is 4 miles to Hungry Horse Dam and Reservoir, 5 miles to Columbia Falls, and 23 miles to Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Along with the vastness of mountain beauty, you will appreciate being within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Supermarkets are a short drive to Columbia Falls. The Huckleberry Patch, famous for their huckleberry pie and gift store, is 2 blocks away. Whether it's accessing endless mountain trails or exploring the many activities and restaurants in the Flathead Valley, enjoy it all within minutes from your front door.
Our home is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath 1250 square foot house built in 2003. The master bedroom and second bedroom have queen size beds. The 3rd bedroom features a beautifully built log bed with a comfortable double size mattress. The master bedroom has its own vanity sink and mirror. All bedrooms have ample closet space and small dresser for storage and organization. A hide-a-bed sofa is located in the living room along with another sofa, coffee table, satellite tv, and dvd player. Internet Wi-Fi extends throughout the house. Our kitchen is fully equipped to prepare home cooked meals for your family and friends. The kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The bathroom has a tub and shower. There is a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer, and the home is equipped with a forced air heating and cooling system.
Outside there is a peaceful yard with a wood deck, barbecue , porch swing, and yard to play games. A 1 car garage is attached to the house and perfect for storing larger items like luggage, bikes and kayaks.

We loved the centrality to everything in Hungry Horse. We thought the yard and patio were fabulous! The grill worked like a charm. The beds were comfortable. Entire house was one of the cleanest rentals I've ever been in. We loved being on one level with our elderly parents. My dad could drive his mobility scooter right out the garage door. He loved that sense of independence on his vacation! We could also back our little trailer with kayaks into the garage and know it was safe there. This house is roomy and thoughtfully appointed, not overfull of items, furniture and decorations. Just right, just enough. The host was easy to reach. We'd come back to it in a heartbeat. Great stay.

Spent a week at this house and it was perfect for my daughter and I. Getting to Glacier National Park early was key for us and this location made it easy. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The bedding was very comfortable. Shower water pressure and temp also excellent. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Sitting on the deck after a long day of hiking was peaceful. Kitchen appeared well stocked although we did eat out a lot. Of course we had to walk to Huckleberry Patch for an awesome shake. Having bear spray at the house for us to use was nice. Definitely would recommend this house to anyone.

This home was so comfortable, well laid out, well equipped, well located, very clean and cared for. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, check in was smooth - I don’t know what else to say it was perfect. Even the view of the trees from all the windows. Lovely. Great location to west Glacier National Park Entrance

We had a great time in this house. It was filled with thoughtful touches like makeup remover clothes. Everything was very clean and in good working order. Drew, the property owner, was a wonderful communicator who provided good information about the area for our stay. We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity ever came along again.

Great place!

Drew was extremely responsive to all our needs and made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond as a host. There were issues out of his control like a thunderstorm and he immediately was in contact to see if we needed anything and to provide resources. This house is in an excellent location in close proximity to the west entrance of GNP and the airport. Would definitely stay here again

Great Place! Close to Glacier without all the Crowds. Very Well Maintained

We were so pleasantly surprised. It sounded nice when we booked but you still wonder will it be that nice. It met every promise and then some. We could tell the owners put their heart and soul into their lovely home. So many details to make it truly feel like home. Very spacious and thoughtful extras (Montana coffee, beautiful pictures in every room, DVD of Glacier, Bear Spray, Cooler and Ice Packs . . . .) We would love to stay again.

Cozy Home Close to Glacier NP

This home was perfect for our trip to Glacier National Park. Less than 15 minutes from the West Glacier entrance, the location was so convenient. The home was very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The amenities - such as bear spray, a cooler and ice packs to borrow - helped make our trip easy and enjoyable. The property manager was friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at this house! Perfect location to explore Glacier Park from. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen with cooking supplies. Near the river for fishing. Drew was a very helpful host. Would recommend and hope to stay here again!

Had everything we needed for visiting Glacier and Flathead areas. Semi-fenced yard was great for dogs. Full kitchen, laundry, and 3 bedrooms were great. Very close to grocery store for making our own meals. Very happy to stay there!

Great Home for Glacier Vacation

Super clean & updated home in a great location only 15 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Home had everything needed for our stay and Drew was on top of making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Would certainly stay again next time in the area.

This was our first daddy-daughter trip to Glacier National Park & this was the perfect house to host us for the days we were there. Such a great location in town, within walking distance to what became our favorite breakfast spot, Great Bear Cafe. The house was very comfortable, clean & quiet, and very close to the west entrance to the park. The welcome book left for us at check in had a ton of resources from excursions to suggested hiking trails to emergency contact information, as well as information & menus to all of the nearby restaurants and grocery store locations. We had such a great time & will definitely book again with Drew next time we venture that way!

Excellent location to Glacier

Home was exactly as advertised, very clean, well stocked with kitchen needs as well as towels and bedding. All rooms/ beds were excellent. Manager called the day of arrival to check in, welcome us and make sure we had his contact info in case there was anything we needed. Location relative to Glacier was excellent in a nice quiet neighborhood... it was a quick 10 min drive to the gate. Will stay here again on a return trip to the area.

Perfect home base for trips to Glacier

Our family stayed here for our few-day trip to Glacier NP. Perfectly located a short drive from the West Glacier entrance and not too far from the fun of downtown Whitefish
 comfortable accommodations and charm to have a home away from home. (For example, we were able to leave the house at 5:30am and make it up to Logan Pass before 7:00 as the parking lot was starting to fill up.) Full kitchen. Laundry. Multiple bedrooms. Spacious yard. And a nice touch to have a garage to store a few things in we didn’t need for this leg of our three-week journey. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Perfect Respite after long adventure days

This property was the perfect respite after long days of adventuring in GNP. The home was the perfect size for a family of 5, very clean and had all the necessary accommodations. The location was on a quiet street outside of the park, yet close to everything in town including restaurants, souvenir shopping, a gas station and a grocery store. We took advantage of local activities by renting a UTV for the day, exploring the Hungry Horse Dam area, grilling our dinners and playing games in the backyard. Communication was excellent and check-in processes were seamless. Highly recommend this property!
