The cleaners were at the house when we went to check in. They said it would be a half hour past check in to get in. It was over an hour before we were able to get in. They said it was due to having multiple cleans that day. That is not my fault. We paid for check in at a certain time. The pool was not clean by any means. The owner dis call the pool guy to come and clean it that day. My wife had already skimmed the pool before they came. They finished the clean. We had clorox wipes and cleaned the light switches off and the countertops. They had dirty smudges on the. That the cleaners did not clean and the counters as well. I took the cold air return grate down from the living room ceiling and washed it. It looked like it was wrapped with a towel due to all the dirt gathered on it. The pool is on a timer and the heating is an extra cost that isnt in the description of the rental. The timer only allows the pool to filter or during a brief period in the day. The owner was very responsive and allowed me to jave a guest stay a couple nights for the wedding we were in town for. He did also allow me to run the heater and filter to accommodate the use of the pool and hot tub. The blower on the hot tub needs fixed so you can use the hot tub properly. The house is nice but for the price it needs some maintenance and updates on some things. When i come back to Texas i would rent here again. Also would bring some tools and fix some things if the owner needed some things done.
