Located on a peaceful, quiet street yet centrally located to many great restaurants, must-see attractions and tasty places to grab a drink. 6 minute walk to a local coffee shop, What The Cup. 6 minute drive to the nearest hospital. The Hopewell City Marina is only 7 minutes away, as well as several beautiful and peaceful parks located at City Point Historic District, if you`re wanting go for a walk or a bike ride along the beautiful and scenic Appomattox River. Only a 6 minute drive to the popular Beacon Theatre, which quite frequently has live music! The Stodola is a warm and welcoming event venue in nearby Prince George, VA, set on a peaceful historic farm.

An automobile is recommended, and there is 1 dedicated off-street parking space located at the back of the house. Alternatively, there is a nearby bus station for those who prefer public transportation. Lyft and Uber ride sharing services are available here.

The main thermostat is managed remotely and isn’t accessible to guests.

Please note that the thermostat is remotely managed and shared across multiple units. While we’re always happy to make adjustments when possible, we do need to maintain a temperature range that works reasonably for all guests.

We typically keep the home within a seasonal range of 68–74°F, which most guests find comfortable. Depending on demand and the time of year, we may not always be able to adjust the temperature to an exact request.

* For additional comfort, the home is equipped with a ceiling fan, a portable fan, a space heater and a window unit. The window unit can be set to either air conditioning or heat, depending on your preference. The remote is located on the wardrobe rack next to the iron, though you can also adjust the settings directly on the unit itself. *
