A great place to relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in the heart of Waikiki. The suite has two lanai balconies, both approx. 40sq ft each
Superb pool and whirlpool spa for the kids surrounded by lush tropical pool deck with cafe/bar (a great place to snack during the day) free WiFi included both by the Pool and in the spacious 1 bedroom suite itself.
A new mattress on the modern Hawaiian queen bed in the bedroom and a comfy sleeper sofa in the living room.
Fresh white cotton linens and towels placed for your arrival and colorful Beach Towels to save you luggage space.

Nice condo but...

Nice condo but the check in took almost one hour because the host did not finalize our reservation with the front desk before our arrival. The shower needs some thorough cleaning and the sheets for the bed in the living room needs to be changed (several holes in the mattress cover). The location close to the beach is great but a bit noisy.

Had an amazing week for my babymoon! Unit was very clean and the kitchenette was perfect to make breakfast every morning. We really enjoyed the living room plus 1 bedroom (since I’m an early-bird and my husband like to sleep in lol). AC worked perfectly and the blackout curtains made for a good nights sleep. The pool area is beautiful. The place was just a few minute walk to the beach. We lucked out and were able to park our car in the parking lot the whole week which was incredibly convenient and much cheaper than the surrounding parking garages. I lived on Oahu years ago so I knew beforehand how close everything in Waikiki is to each other, so when it was time for me to book a place to stay - I didn’t want to break my vacation budget staying at one of the fancier hotels knowing that there were great options one block away. I’m happy I took a chance on this unit, I would 1000% book again if and when we come back!

Our Virbo person was great. Answered questions. Got back pretty fast. Now the hotel/condo part not the happiest. The hotel had us sign a form that said if things were missing from our rooms, the hotel is not accountable.?? Why would or should I worry about stuff missing from our room. Money, jewelry etc. So they do not hold there employees accountable if we have them in our rooms to clean or bring linens? So right off the bat I am stressed out. Making sure i carry my important stuff with me. Didn't want to hangout to long with family because i was worried someone was going through our stuff. Then when we got into our room, there was a musky smell and it was not enjoyable. We had to leave our slider open to help with the smell. There is water leaks on the ceiling. The condo looked bigger in the pictures than it was. Still, it was nice and it worked. But would I come back to the Bamboo. No. People were nice. You hold me accountable to take care of this home but not your employees!! That I have to sign a waver and except that they could steal from your customers.

The best thing about this place is the location... Very close to the beach and lots of great restaurants and bars. The room itself is dated and the bed was ok but sofa bed lumpy and not provided with proper fitted sheet. Staff were friendly and over all it suited our purposes but we weren't overly impressed with anything.

Cute place

Place is cute but the bathroom needs some serious tlc. Missing shower curtain hooks, used shower liner, and dirty shower curtain. Liners need to be replaced after every guest or ran through the wash. Shower curtain also needs to be washed after every guest. Parking is a nightmare and front desk staff is of no help. They only recommend parking garages that are attached to hotels that say guest parking only. Other than that, place is cute and in the heart of Waikiki close to the beach. Nice area

Great Local Stay

The building is clean, front desk is polite. The pool and restaurant downstairs is a big plus. Room was clean and spacious - slept four people with no problem.Walking distance to IMP, Target, the beach. Already recommended to friends and family and will stay again!

Needs some attention: Window in bathroom does not close need to make sure bathroom door closed for noise. Mattress on pull out couch has spring sticking out. Missing part of sink faucet but still usablePool area is beautiful

Family Spring Break

Perfect location, close to all, yes a bit loud but we were hardly in the room and we are in the city BTW. Loved that it had AC, good size bathroom and laundry plus pool and hot tub. Very friendly service at desk also. Will definitely return!

Great central location in Honolulu

This is an older property that could use a little TLC, but the location is great. Amenities in the unit are minimal and space is a little cramped, but for our purposes, it worked just fine. Close to the beach, shopping, bus lines, etc.

Musk smell bedroom with water leak fro the air conditioner unit

Bedroom cooling didn’t work. Cooling unit water drain was plugged and the water was dripping inside the bedroom. There was huge puddle of standing water in the room.The bedroom was musky smell to it.

Great location and apartment

Restaurants in the immediate blocks had great choices. Perfect distance from beach, 5 minute walk. The closest street to beach was all upscale bland stuff, Kohio had character. Target store 5 minutes walk was wonderful for groceries at a good price.
