Breathtaking views

Great view of marina and beaches. You can also see the city lights at night too. Truly amazing. Even my younger kids were amazed by view.Great location too. Shops, restaurants, and activities right around corner.

60th Birthday Vacation

The view made up for everything that was wrong. Both the living room and bedroom TV’s did not work. The only one that worked was in the master bedroom. Thankfully we had plans to watch the Super Bowl elsewhere! The sofa was stained I was scared to sit on it. The tea pot was rusted inside. The patio furniture needs to be replaced. I got a splinter on my butt from the wooden patio chair. Other than those minor things which could be fixed easily I had a great time.

LOVE THE VIEW, BUT...

Let's start with how spectacular the view from the lanai is, it's simply breathtaking to just sit and embrace the environment. With that said, the unit is very dated, can use a bit of TLC to get the place more comfortable and cozier. The dining room table only has 4 chairs around it and it's quite small, if you're going with a family as we did, you'll need to sit separated and/or sit outside on the lanai which is what we did for the most part. The kitchen has limited supplies, i.e. serving bowls and such that might be needed for a family meal. The range is electric, and the bottom right burner was broken, and this is the power burner that people would normally use to cook. In the living room, the couch is comfortable but there were a few spots. There are 2 bedrooms in the unit but the wall dividing the rooms isn't completely closed, there is about a 5" gap against the window which gives you ZERO privacy. In the front bedroom, there is NO dresser to put your clothes in, so you'll have to hang up your clothes and/or leave it in your luggage for the duration of your stay. Both bedrooms have a very nice firm beds, but the blankets were very thin. The weather definitely was nice, so a thicker blanket probably wasn't necessary but if you like the "fluffy" bed, you'll have to pack your own. Washer START button is VERY sensitive, it took us about 30 minutes to start it every time we ran it. No gym access either and pools were marginal at best. Not going back.

Our New Favorite Place to Stay!

We are not strangers to the islands, but have always stayed in hotels... not anymore! This place is gorgeous with its surrounding ocean views and what feels like your own private showing of the Friday fireworks from the marina. Centrally located within short distances to shopping and eateries even made our teen stay off his phone. The place is spotless and we can't wait to return.

This place has a spectacular view. It’s close to a lot of stuff. It’s in the Illikai Hotel. The living space and balcony are great. This place is not for kids. It is quite dated inside but we knew that from reviews.

Unforgettable View

This rental is all about that view, and it is not disappointing at all. As expected with wrap around windows for maximum views, the unit can get warm. The location of AC units inside the main living areas misses the mark because it is not centrally located. I found myself sitting at the table while inside so that I was always getting cool air. The unit was clean and as advertised. The property itself offers so much in the way of shopping and food, it’s easy to just stay in the area and enjoy some relaxing days. The unit offered us everything we needed to not only have a place to call home base, but to have a place to want to call home base. Again, the view is fantastic. Don’t forget to close those curtain after 2/3pm as the sun will heat up the inside quickly. My only complaints are: the two bedrooms need to offer a bit more privacy, because the wall in between does not completely enclose/seperate the rooms. Also, some window treatment should be considered by the property owner to maximize efficiency and comfort while the sun is glaring into the unit. We would stay there again.

眺望がすばらしい

8月下旬に1週間利用しました。ホテルの最上階のペントハウスで事前にPIN CODEを教えてもらえるので受付等の煩わしい手続きはなく、直接部屋に入れます。タオル、食器は十分にありました。寝室は2部屋あって、どちらもベッドは広いので快適でした。角部屋だったので眺望は素晴らしかったです。ハワイではAmazon primeは観れませんでした。日本の動画アプリも観れませんので注意だ必要です。シャワーの圧はかなり弱いし、バスタブはちょっと使う気にはなれない感じだったので、星は減点。特にバスタブは残念でした。それ以外は十分良かったと思います。ロケーションは眺望と引き換えと思えば多少は不便でも許せます。ただ小さいお子さんがいる場合は、ちょっと大変かもしれません。朝食やディナーはだいたいロイヤルハワイアンセンター近くに繰り出しますが、歩いて行くと15分はかかります。毎日御飯ごとに往復するとまあまあ大変です。バスは高いし、あまり便はよくありません。タクシーも少ないし、現金をあまりもってなかったためチップが気になり、海外で気軽に乗る気にはなれずでした。ただ、歩くこと自体は気持ち良く、治安も良いので楽しいは楽しいです。

The Ilikai is the place to be!

The location of this property is amazing for access to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the Friday night fireworks. This unit has amazing views and is spacious. Two bedrooms, but the privacy is limited as the dividing walls don't enclose the rooms fully. The property is in average condition. Updates done cheaply and it shows in the functionality of things like blinds and doors. Great place but if you are looking for luxury perhaps aim higher. You are paying for the views (incredible, you won't be disappointed) and the location.

Completely Lacked Privacy

There were employees peering down onto my penthouse balcony daily. This is a non- smoking property, yet I i had stinky employees smoking cigarettes above my hand daily. There were drones spying around. The guest room window treatments were not in working order and we could not appreciate the view as advertised.

Great condo with amazing views!

This condo was just as advertised! The deck and views are amazing! It was clean and just as pictured. The property management company was very responsive and got us what we needed when requested. The only issue we had was the blinds in both bedrooms so not open and close but I believe they are in the process of repairing those. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

The view!

Penthouse unit facing the lagoon/harbor. Amazing sunsets. We were sad that the fireworks haven’t returned. But we enjoyed the stay very much so.
