Castle Waikīkī Shore #1106 on the 11th floor: This stunning one-bedroom/one-bathroom is one of our more unique suites with a modern edge and clean white aesthetic. This open-concept unit has living room dividers to give you multiple layout options.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow plenty of natural light to fill the bright space while tile flooring, air conditioners, and two ceiling fans keep you cool for the duration of your stay. The spacious living room area has a stylish firm sofa (that doubles as a pull-out bed), and a flat-screen television with cable for your entertainment. There is also a breakfast space for a few guests to enjoy a casual meal.

From the living room, you and your loved one can step out to the private lanai and soak up the sublime ocean views exclusive to only this resort. A table and two chairs allow guests to enjoy outdoor meals. On Friday evenings, guests can watch fireworks from their lanai.

If you find yourself inspired by local finds, the open kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a delicious meal while visiting. Brand-name built-in appliances include a stove/oven, full-sized refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. There’s also coffee maker to start your day with a cup of local Hawaiian coffee.

The bedroom can remain open and connected to the living room, or you can close the divider for added privacy. Two twin-sized beds fitted with top-quality sheets and pillows will ensure a blissful sleep (in addition to the sofa bed in the living room, this unit can sleep up to four guests). Access to the lanai is close to the beds so guests can begin their sun salutations easily. The en suite bathroom features spa-like décor with complimentary towels and toiletries.

Additional perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, an ironing board with an iron, a closet, hangers for your outfits, and a stacked washer/dryer.

Excellent location

Excellent location, right on the beach. Can’t be any closer to all the restaurants. There’s only one frying pan in the unit and it’s very poor quality. The blinds would need to be replaced sooner than later. Overall great place to stay.

Condo could use some maintenance

There is a lot to like about this place. The view from the lanai is fantastic. Your high enough to get a good view of the ocean, the beach and the Honolulu skyline. You do hear some traffic noise but no noise from the many people walking below going to and from the beach. Every evening you get a fantastic view of the sunset and on Friday nights of the fireworks display from the Hilton hotel. Overall the condo is clean and the condition is acceptable. There are a few things that should be fixed: the bedroom has only one nightstand. The sliding partition between the bed and the living room has some of the folds that have separated from the slider which makes the partition hard to use. We didn’t use it for fear that it would get worse and would not work which was a problem when wanting to watch TV while others wanted to sleep. Some of the shades on the sliding glass doors are not all positioned correctly to block the light and need to be adjusted. The dishwasher is very loud and should be replaced. One of the handles on one of the left cupboard door is loose. The unit could use a deep clean. We noticed some hairs attached to the bathroom ceiling above the shower and dust on the upper closet shelves.

Wonderful week and perfect unit for two

We are huge fans of Waikiki Shore and have been there several times. This is the first time it was just my husband and I so we rented a one bedroom just doors down from the unit we usually rent. It was perfect. Same great view. Same great service. Everything that makes us enjoy this property we had with this unit. Now if you are looking for a place with a pool, gym, bar and restaurant..this is not for you you. But...if you want a quiet unit that is steps from the beach and offers a tranquility that I don't think you can get anywhere else on Waikiki, then check this place out. Restaurants, bars and stores (and the crazy and the crazy of Waikiki) are steps away. Here you can relax, go for long walks, sit on our balcony in peace and walk just a few yards to Oasis Bar for a cocktail at sunset. So wonderful.

Overall a great room!

We loved it, perfect for what we wanted, super clean and spacious. In-room safe a bonus, only issue was a very noisy washing machine when on spin cycle.
