Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.

CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

Rentals are not transferable to another party.

We have stayed in The Ilikai several times previously, but never in this suite. The host was very supportive when we had issues regarding gaining entry, the internet not working, etc. (The Housekeeping staff had not changed the entry code from the previous guests.) The bed, couch, and balcony furniture were comfortable and the TV worked fine. The Housekeeping staff had done a good job cleaning the room also. However, the dishes were not clean (greasy), the wooden furniture was in terrible condition (scratched and dented), the appliances were very outdated, and birds were roosting under the air conditioning unit on the balcony. We had to bring the balcony furniture inside as they were constantly landing and defecating on it. Gross! Although we would return to The Ilikai, we would never stay in that suite again!!!

Great location, but the front area was very hectic with cars constantly coming and going. Valet service helped. The room was fine with basic amenities, but the bed was too high and uncomfortable, and we woke up with sore backs. The air conditioning was extremely loud, making it hard to sleep, and it seems this issue has been mentioned before without being fixed. The bathroom needs proper holders for toiletries in shower, and the place overall could use some updating. Also, not sure why there were cans of paint and brushes stored in the kitchen cupboard. Otherwise, all ok. Thanks.

Ilikai 527 was the perfect place for me. I was there on an extended trip for work (32 days) and wanted a place with some space and a kitchen. It had everything I wanted that a hotel doesn’t offer. On top of that, the views were amazing, especially the sunsets. The location was great too. It’s a bit quieter than the main strip, but centrally located and walkable to all of Waikiki as well as the Ala Moana park and mall area. I would definitely stay there again and have strongly recommend to others that they should look into it for their trips.

Our overall stay is good. I'll start with the good part. Balcony is facing the marina and partial ocean view with a sunset. Walking distance from the Hilton Lagoon and Kahanamoku Beach and a 15minute walks to Ala Moa Beach Park and Ala Moana Shopping Center. Bus stop is in front of the hotel if you are going to Waikiki Area. Walking distance to ABC groceries and McDonald's. It has stove with oven, fridge with freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Equipped with kitchen essentials if you are planning on cooking. It has Smart TV where you can login with your netflix and Amazon prime video. It has queen bed and a sofa with pull out bed. Full bath is nice but a little outdated. It has 3 beach chairs that we used when we went to the lagoon or beach. The pool is added plus where the kids enjoyed swimming Now the bad side. It could have been excellent if not of the ilder AC being so loud. We stayed here for 9 nights and overtime my head starting to hurt for the constant loud AC. The AC works fine, it can cool down the whole place, it's just annoyingly loud. If you're a shallow sleeper, I suggest you find somewhere else. On the third night I had to buy an ear plug, but it made my ear uncomfortable.

Great room with all the amenities (ac, full kitchen, balcony) and location. The Hilton Hawaiian village resort is right next door so it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It is within short walking distance to the beach, and 10 minutes to ala Moana center and 20 minutes to Waikiki. I must note the pigeons make themselves at home on the balcony and as such, leave their calling cards LOL .. I emailed the property mgr and maintenance was able to clean it up the same day. The only thing that was missing was a full length mirror LOL. This is a great accommodations in a great location with very reasonable price. I will definitely be staying here again!
