The Neighborhood:

The Chaz hotel is nestled in the town of Chassahowitzka. A quaint town along the nature coast with lots of history. Conveniently located minutes off the veterans expressway. 15 mins south of Homosassa Springs, and 25 mins south of Crystal river.



Getting Around:

We offer parking for 7 cars at the hotel.

- If additional parking is required or trailer/boat parking is required we have an overflow lot available for an additional charge.



Once you arrive at the hotel there are multiple area within walking distance we recommend exploring:

-We recommend talking evening walk down to the "boat house" located next to public boat ramp, this small building & covered dock is a favorite gathering place for visitors & locals to catch up on happenings, as well as a relax and take in the view of the beautiful lagoon in front (this is a great area to spot manatees in the winter)



- Looking for a night cap - step on over to the Chassahowitzka river lodge the local dive bar is a great spot for cheap drink, pool, and bar bites (cash only)



- Looking to go on a clear kayak tour - check out Get up and Go kayaking located across the street in seven sisters campground.



-Kayak rentals are available in 3 locations within walking distance of hotel: Seven sisters campground, the Chassahowitzka river lodge, and the Chassahowitzka river campground.



- Fishing/scallop charters are offered out of seven sisters campground, and the Chassahowitzka River lodge
