The Bungalow at Bishops Beach is a Home away from home! It comfortable fit our family of 9 including Oshi, the dog. Do not miss out on the opportunity to walk to the beach, old town Homer & whatever else you might enjoy. Listen to the Eagles, Crows and Sandhill Cranes while enjoying the view from the deck.
Little small for 6 guys but we were primarily there to sleep before an early morning of fishing and then come back to sleep again after a long day fishing. Owner met us when we checked in and was very accomodating. We had several questions which he answered. I would stay here again.
We love the bungalow at bishop beach and try to come back every year. We love the view of the beach from the master bedroom, the kitchen has everything we need to cook our meals, and the local bakery and coffee shops are awesome. Homer as always is delightful and charming.
Clean, well-supplied with the necessities. May be a little small for more than 4 people. Only minor inconvenience was that the single bathroom was downstairs for all bedrooms upstairs. Nice location for a short walk to the beach.
This Bishopâs Beach House is the best place weâve ever rented! Quiet, soooo close to the beach, with Sandhill Cranes flying overhead. The art work inside is lovely, and the property manager is the best!
Our stay at the bungalow met all of our needs. We used the BBQ every night and the wonderful weather we ordered made the our experience even better. We watched eagles and moose from the dining room table and took walks along the water front just steps from the door.
This place is just what we needed for a quick trip. 7 people and a dog slept comfortably in this cozy but spacious house. The proximity to the beach can't be beat! We also walked to the meadery, grocery store, and Wild Honey cafe-- super close to everything!
We enjoyed our stay at Bungalow at Bishop Beach. The communication with the owner was great. The house was adorable and very clean. Very friendly and accommodating! The house was very close to the middle of town and walking distance to the grocery store. We would have loved to try Two Sister's Bakary next door, but sadly it was closed the two days we were there. If we are ever back in Homer, this will be where we stay for sure!
This was a great place to stay :) the location was on point. Anything you needed was there and available. only suggestion I would make is that curtains be put up in the loft area, when kids see the sun come up they think its time to wake up and in Alaska summers are hard for that :)
