Tucked away in the heart of North Devon's picturesque countryside, Heath Farm offers a peaceful retreat for families and groups looking to unwind and explore. Surrounded by 33 acres (shared with other properties on-site), this charming property provides a wonderful blend of rural tranquillity and modern comfort.
Head inside to find a welcoming living and dining area, complete with a wood burner to keep things cosy on cooler evenings. The first basket of logs are complimentary, while more can be picked up from the little honest shed shop onsite. French doors open onto the patio, allowing natural light to flood the space and offering lovely views of the surrounding landscape. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with ease, including an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and laundry facilities.
The property comfortably accommodates guests across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms. On the ground floor, the master bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room, providing a private and peaceful space to unwind. Upstairs, a double bedroom and a flexible twin/zip-and-link room offer comfortable sleeping arrangements for families and friends. A separate family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower completes the layout.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and thoughtful pet-friendly touches ensure that your furry companions enjoy their stay too. While the enclosed garden provides a safe space for them to roam, they'll need to be kept on a lead when exploring the wider grounds, as this is a working farm. Fishing enthusiasts can take advantage of the on-site lakes - just bring your own rods and enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the water.
We are a truly dog-friendly home, providing a special welcome pack for your four-legged friends, including towels, dog tags, tasty treats, and homemade pup cakes. After a day of exploring, an outdoor tap and hose are available to wash off muddy paws. For our human guests, we offer delicious home produce, including jams, Jane's famous marmalade, and fresh free-range eggs from our happy hens. When in season, you'll also find home-grown fruit and vegetables available in the charming little honesty shed shop.
Bradworthy, just two miles away, offers charming village shops, a 14th-century pub, and all the essentials you may need during your stay. The stunning North Devon coastline is within easy reach, with picturesque spots like Clovelly, Bucks Mill, and Hartland offering breathtaking sea views and coastal walks. Nearby Bude, a haven for surfers and beach lovers, is only ten miles away and boasts golden sands, fantastic restaurants, and family-friendly attractions. For a fun-filled day out, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are close by, while the enchanting villages of Boscastle and Tintagel, as well as the famous Eden Project, are all worth a visit.
